Big hugs for Dasher and his Mom
Oh, I hate those words, let's wait and see! I am not the patient type. Hope all goes well and the lump goes away or isn't anything to worry about.
Prayers and positive thoughts continuing for you dear Dasher. {{hugs}}
Lots of prayers and good wishes coming from the furkids and I.
Robin
{{{HUGS}}} and prayers to you and Dasher!!
Sorry I'm just seeing this :( Thoughts and prayers going out to both of you right away :(
The wait is torture. Praying the antibiotics clear up Dasher's lump and all will be well. Keeping you and Dasher in my thoughts, always, Val.
Looks like I'll be taking him in for an ex-ray. I checked his toe today and the sore on top has opened back up and is draining something between clear/bloody stuff. I'm not worried about his toe coming off as much as I'm worried about him being there with his separation anxiety and knowing how he feels about being kenneled. He totally destroyed my metal kennel I had. I don't want him to go backwards in the progress we've made. I get sick just thinking of him there.
Oh Val, great big {{{hugs}}} to you. This has to be so hard for you. I won't say Lacey has separation anxiety but she cannot be kenneled. She has however been left at the vets, in a kennel, many times. Maybe it's just different. Hopefully if Dasher has to stay a bit he will be fine. I am keeping him in my prayers.
Both you and Dasher will be in my thoughts Val {{Hugs}}.
I hope everything will be ok for sweet Dasher. Thinking of you both!
Poor Dasher :( I am sure he will be fine if he has to be kennelled and think how happy he will be to see you again.
(I will never forget Archie's face when we picked him up from the kennels the first time "wow!!! you came back for me" just about summed it up)
Adding our prayers for Dasher.
I am too.Quote:

I don't want that cone thing stressing him out even more. I'm hoping if they do need to do surgery, I can drop him off Saturday morning after work. I won't have to be back to work until Tuesday night.
Val,
{{{great big hugs}}}
Dasher be good for Mummy!
Aww poor dasher, i hope all goes well with his surgery, fingers and all paws crossed here, HUGS, for you both.
Here's hoping for good news Thursday. Thoughts and prayers coming your way.
I am thinking about you & Dasher, and keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well :)
Pawsitive thoughts and prayers for Dasher Thursday morning. Hang in there Val.
We are thinking of you both Val & Dasher. Lots and lots of good thoughts and pawsitive vibes being sent out.

Hey Dasher and Mom! Just checking in so you know we are all thinking of you
Dasher, just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about you!
Sorry I didn't update sooner. I got home yesterday morning and couldn't get warm. Took a nap and woke up sick with either stomache virus or food poisoning. The good news is nothing is eating into the bone. The bad news is he has a biopsy next Thursday. I have to drop him off in the morning and leave him all day :( I talked to the vet tech about him not liking being kenneled and his separation anxiety. I found out the kennels are more like small runs and she said she'd give him meds, if needed. So that relieves me a little.
A little funny thing that happened. The vet tech was getting ready to take Dasher back for ex-rays and she pulled out this pink bunny stuffie and squeaked it, then set it on the exam table, which is considerably taller than Dasher. She was saying if he behaved while being ex-rayed, he could have that bunny. She'd no sooner gotten the sentence out of her mouth when he jumped up and took that bunny off the table. Was very cute. He was a good dog. She bragged on how he was one of the best ones ever. Of course, that made me proud.

That sounds promising so far, what a cutie, I think we need a picture with that pink bunny.
LOL. That bunny is already missing one ear. I'll try to get one before he tears it up too much more.Quote:

Even with humans, doing a biopsy on a 'thing' like that is very routine. I hope it turns out to be very treatable, whatever happens.

good boy Dasher!!...*pat pat*.....
((hugs to you both))
Not sure how I missed the update, I've been looking for one. Well, I am glad to hear that the news today was good, and of course he was a good boy. :) Dasher was very anxious to give that bunny a new home.
Here's Dasher with his one eared bunny. He just loves it.

OMG, he's so cute with his bunny! Good boy, Dasher! :D
You know it is very difficult to get a toy worn just right. It's hard work. We have a one eared pink pig. Molly and Carly will take turns carrying the silly thing around. Haven't got the heart to even buy a new one, they love it so much.
Lots of prayers coming from me and the kids for both you and Dasher!
Robin
Dasher, I just want to give you a big bear hug! Adorable :)
That vet tech sounds like she knows what she is doing!
Kisses to handsome Dasher
Good thoughts for both of you, Thanks for keeping us posted. :)
Good thoughts coming your way from me too.
Dasher is so cute with that pink bunny of his. :D
