Let's all hope the government is better at making missiles than they apparently are at making satellites! ;)Quote:

The Navy Boys say they GOT IT tonight! >>>
Missile strikes dead satellite, Pentagon says.
Navy won't know until later if tank holding toxic material was destroyed.
:D
Ya gotta think that shooting off a moving boat ain't that big a deal for those Navy boys.
I heard that the hydrazine contamination would spread over an area of about 2 football fields, if it lands on earth.

When I was a kid and up until a few years ago, the military/NASA would shoot off satellites from Vandenberg AFB up the coast. They would shoot them off at sunset and they were the prettiest thing you ever saw.
A line like an airplane contrail would appear. When the booster stage would get jettisoned the exhaust would spread out like an neon jellyfish. THe trail would disperse and turn into a silver/gold plume that would stay until the sun went down.

Wow, bullseye. Pretty impressive. :)
Now all we have to do is watch out for falling footballs. :D
That's the size they say some of the stuff will be. So if a football lands in your yard: don't kick it!!! ;)
Said "footballs" will probably burn up on re-entry, yielding a rash of UFO sightings.... :p ;) :D
Those sneaky UFOs will probably take advantage of this to really invade earth!!! ;) :DQuote:
