Although I may not have posted much on your thread about Thumper, I did read all that you did for her. No one could ever say you did not go the distance to help her. I just know that Thumper knew of all the love you had in your heart for her, and how hard you tried to help her. HUGS to you...Sleep softly, dear sweet Thumper...

Craftlady, my deepest sympathies to you at this time. Getting to know Thumper on PT has been an emotional ride, seeing how strong and brave she was and how wonderful you were to try and give her every chance of a good and pain free life. You went beyond what is expected to try and help her. She will not forget that at the bridge and I'm sure she will look down on you everyday and thank you for being such a wonderful owner to her while she was on this earth.
RIP Thumper, you are the most brave and courageous girl I have come across on PT.

The vet's office just called this afternoon and her remains are ready for us to pick up. So we are going up shortly to bring her home :) The box I choice is beautiful wood carved. Here's a photo of it from the pet site. This photo doesnt do it justice, in person it's way more beautiful.

Oh Becky, I am so very sorry to read that our Thumper is now gone. She fought such a long battle and gave us all such hope! I know that she certainly knew how much her Daddy and Mommy loved her and hated to let her go. I wish I had seen this sooner, so I didn't have to bring this back up fresh for you again, but I wanted you to know that I didn't just ignore it!
Hugs,
Kim :(

Thanks for the kind words Kim. Each day gets a little easier.

I am so sorry for Thumper's passing.
By now she will be used to being young and healthy again at Rainbow Bridge.
-
I am sorry that I didn't see this previously. Thumper was a brave girl and a great spirit.
She will not be forgotten.
-
I am so saddened to read this! I have also kept up with her story since I heard about it some time ago. You did all you could for her and it was a long hard fight. May you find comfort and peace in how much and how hard you tried, knowing you did all you could. There should be no "if only" for you to say.... You did everything in your power to give her a chance.
Thumper, you were a brave lady that fought a good fight. Now is your time to have fun and be a "cat", a healthy, playful lady with all the dignity and grace you had here on earth. I will never forget you!

I'm so sorry I am late to this, please accept big hugs on your loss.

Oh Becky....this makes me extremly sad. :(
And I am so embarrased for not knowing this sooner! :o My deepest apoligies and sympathies go out to you and your family. Something made me real the 'Memorials' today for some reason......
Thumper was a wonderful kitty that had a great family that cared for her up until the very end. A lot of people would have given up much sooner than you did, but we are all glad you did the best you could for your Thumper.
Thumper KNEW that you did everything that you could possibly do to help her live her life to the fullest, and she loves you both dearly for that!
I wish there were more people in the world like you & your husband.
Rest in peace dear Thumper, and please say 'Hi' to my big boy, Fluffy. You guys will become great friends along with all the other's up there!

RIP Thumper
I just know she is playing her little heart out at Rainbow Bridge. It is such a difficult time. I am so sorry. It was her time to go and play with all the other kitties and pupsters. I hope you and your husband are ok.
