aaaaawwww they are adorable! congratulations :D
Yep, I'm addicted. Keep the pictures coming!! They are adorable with their white bodies and bright pink puppy noses :D Glad to hear they are all doing well. I am sure you and Sheena are just exhausted from all this work/excitement. ((hugs)) and **kisses** to all the puppies and Sheena too, way to go girl!!
Nope, no girls. Which is ok(even though a girl was what our heart was set on to keep this dream going) because we have 7 beautiful, strong vocal boys. And yes I am keeping one. Even though they gave me a sleepless night last night and my body feels like it has been hit by a truck, these pups have already gotten into my heart and I will have a hard time sending them to their new familes when they are old enough.
Anyway off to get ready. Have the vet visit today to make sure Sheena is empty and the pups are doing well. I will let you all know how it goes when I get back.

Just weighed all the boys. I had expected them to lose some weight before gaining. So I was suprised to note that all the pups gained weight. Not one lost any. Some gained a lot, and some only .1oz but it is gaining none the less. Here is how it is today versus when they were first born.
Dark blue collared male - At birth: 14oz, Now 14.7oz
Dark Yellow collared male - At birth: 11.4oz, Now 11.5oz
Green collared male - At Birth: 13.3oz, Now 13.9oz
Light Blue collared Male - At Birth: 15.4oz, Now 1.04 LBS
Red Collared Male - At Birth: 9.9oz, Now 10.5oz
Rainbow Collared Male - At Birth: 11oz, Now 11.1oz
Light Yellow Collared Male - At Birth 14.7oz, Now 15.2oz
So they have all gained. Yippee. Now to wait to phone the vet to go see her.

Congrats Sheena on the new pups. They are adorable!
Awww, congratulations Sheena & family! The puppies are adorable and Mama looks so happy! It was a good day to be born! Life goes on. :)
LOL, at their little collars.
Having Border collies who all had their own individual markings, we never had to use coloured collars or anything. They all had their little names according to marking etc...
Funny how they are all male, lol. Ah well, I'm sure they'll still be as popular.
Cute little things. They look like pups of all other breeds right now other than colour. The genes for the individual breed will start to kick in at about 2 weeks.
OMG - Sheena just GRINNING and so happy with that bundle of baby puppies at her tummy! What a wonderful mom she is.
And they have GAINED!
Great news! :)
OMG how freakin cute!! awww i want one lol. congrats on the pups! cant wait to see which one you decide to keep.
Maybe one of those boys should be named Sherman!! ;)Quote:

We just got back and the pups are all setled in and eating. Our vet checked them over and gave them all a clean bill of health. Everyone in teh vet office stopped what they were doing to come and see the adorable white puppies. They were all praising Sheena(who also got a clean bill of health) and commenting on how happy and energized and healthy she looked so soon after whelping. Our next visit, pending no complications or problems, will be in 5 1/2 weeks for their first shots. After that the adopters will be able to visit the pups.
So all are doing great, Sheena is a proud and happy mom, and I am a very proud grandma.
I will be taking some cute pics this afternoon of Luca and the pups. No I am not letting him in with the whole litter. lol He likes to kiss their noses when you hold them up to him, which Sheena is completely fine with, so I thought they would make cute pics. Big black Luca face with tiny white puppy face. What do you all think? So I will post those pics later today for you.

Awwwww!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! All boys!! They are just precious and Sheena looks like a queen as always. She is incredibly beautiful. :)
I sent this link to my sister. She will be on top of the world to see Sheena and her pups. What a cool thing to name one of the pups, Sherman. :)
Yayyyy! Sherman lives on! Such an indomitable spirit, he is!
My sadness is running its course, yet my joie de vivre is boundless because of the love given by all here at PetTalk. I am humbled, indeed.

Congrats on Seven beautiful healthy little boys :).
Well, once again, congratulations Nicole & Sheena! I think it's wonderful that one is nicknamed Sherman. :)
Oh yay, I am so glad they are finally here! That's funny that she had all boys. I can't wait to watch them grow!
wow all boys! They are all adorable! I can't wait to see the pics of them and Luca.
Yay! Congrats! :D Now that you have a boy you can just find a nice female to lease when he's ready to breed. Almost the same as finding a stud LOL.
Pat that was just my thought when I read about them:)Quote:

I just got done looking at the pictures and they are PRECIOUS!
Thank you so much for sharing your and Sheena's experience with us!
Morning report for day 3. Every pup has gained weight. Since being born here is the amount each has gained:
Dark Blue: 1.2oz
Dark Yellow: .2oz
Green: 1.2oz
Light blue: 1oz (first to hit the 1lbs mark)
Red: 1.3oz
Sherman (Rainbow): .5oz
Light Yellow: 1.1oz
So all are doing well and gaining. Some slower then others but they are still gaining and every little bit counts.
Nicole & Sheena & Puppies
WOW their weight has sky rocketed since yesterday morning. Since birth now they have gained this much:
Dark Blue: 2.6oz
Dark Yellow: 1.4oz
Green: 2.6oz
Light Blue: 2.8oz
Red: 2.6oz
Sherman: 2.4oz
Light Yellow: 2.5oz
I am so glad they they have only steadily gained and not lost any weight since birth. Sure takes a load of worry off my mind.
They are all feisty and energetic when awake and have no problems telling people when they are not happy. Right now(though I know it is still too early to tell for sure) we are the most interested in Light Blue. He is so calm and will sleep in anyones arms. When we did the first Early Neurological Stimulation set on him yesterday he was relax and calm during the whole thing. Gave a couple of grunts once in a while but otherwise didn't care much. Unlike some of the more vocal ones. lol
So all is going great so far. I am loving this so much.
Nicole & Sheena & Puppies
gee, all boys! wow. :) :)
CONGRATS!!
I think it's cool that sherman's legacy continues, thank you pet talk!
all of pictures are ad-or-ab-le and enjoy their lives while they grow fast!
WOW their weight just keeps climbing faster and faster. lol Sheena must have very rich milk. Since birth now they have gained this much:
Dark Blue: 4.8oz
Dark Yellow: 3.6oz
Green: 4.2oz
Light Blue: 5.5oz
Red: 4.8oz
Sherman: 4.7oz
Light Yellow: 5.8oz
Still gaining. Yippee. Everyday they sleep for longer periods but are also awake for longer periods. They are now also going off on adventures more. Light Blue boy has already made it to the othe end of the box. He has made it the furthest so far. But the others are catching up. They also like to sleep on the bare lino. And will crawl off the blanket when they are done eating to stretch out on the lino. They don't sleep in a puppy pile any more. Usually they find their own sleeping spot now. Anyway that is todays update. I will try and post some pics if I have time later today.
