Northern CA Meeting *Reminder: July 14 meet!*

Don't forget we are also getting together on June 16th.....aren't we? I think it is going to be at Berkeley Marina/Cesar Chavez. :D

Ok, my memory is REALLY bad.....weren't Zoee and Crayola valentines this year? That would be great that they could meet in person (or whatever dogs call it). :D :D

so july 14th is the meeting date?

If I'm not mistaken there are two dates set right now.
June 16th at Berkeley Marina/Cesar Chavez, and July 14th at Pt Isabel in Richmond.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Saturday the 16th is fine, however I'm not sure on the time. My boss unfortunately scheduled me to work until 615pm, even though I asked a month in advance to take the day off. :( BUT I've been trying to switch with my co-worker, so if she agrees, I'd get off work at 230pm. I'll keep you guys updated on the time.. UGHHHHHH I like my job but sometimes it drives me crazy :mad: :(

sooo would late afternoon/early evening work for whoever's planning to make it on the 16th? the sunsets are gorgeous at the park on a good day, you can see the golden gate bridge and the city :D lol

No problem, Di. I have something to do on the early afternoon of the 16th so I wouldn't be able to make it until 1 pm or 2 pm anyways. Besides, it's been staying light out until 7:30. I'm sure it'll be beautiful when we're there ;)

I can't make either of those. :( Oh well, some other time.

ugh. i am sooo sorry i didn't make it. i left around 2pm and it was only supposed to be a 55 minute drive from los altos, but i got lost by oakland and i ended up driving around trying to get back to the freeway. I eventually found 7th street but thats as close as i got to the park and it was almost 4pm at that point so i just screamed with joy when i found the freeway and drove home. I'm really disappointed i didn't get to meet your lovely dogs :(

I'm sorry you didn't make it ratdogg81. I also got lost a little on my way there, but I left my house at 1pm. When I got there Sophie was there with Giselle and Ivy. Unfortunately she had to leave and passed BCBlondie on her way out. So Zoee and I hung out with her and her three pups, Miko, Maija and Megan along with Kater!! We were actually there until 5:30! :eek: Zoee and I are both pooped. But it was a lot of fun. :D
Of course I forgot my camera but Sophie took a few pictures and Di took a TON. Hopefully they can post them soon so I can see how they came out. :) (no pressure, lol)

That's okay that you can't make it on July 14th. But you and I need to schedule some more dates at Pt Isabel. My Zoee is so tired right now, she is groaning and whining. I think she wants to go to bed. LOL I love it!! She needs more exercise like this. Shoot, I might just start taking her to Pt Isabel even if I have to go by myself. I'll make Bruce come with me!! :D

Cindy, it was so nice meeting you and Zoee!!! I'm soo glad Miko and her got along so well. It was SO cute how much he fell in love with her.. HAHA remember how he jumped on her and then barked at the other dog? "SHE'S MINE!! :mad: " HAHAHA that was classic. Anyway, we should get our dogs together more often too..

Those pictures are awesome!! I guess I would like some in their regular size. I copied one and it was a little small. I love the close up one of Zoee and her eyes. :D

And that was hilarious when Miko "claimed" Zoee. I really wish we had that on video. Although, I'm sure the owner of that Vizsla didn't think it was too funny. Oh well, she just didn't understand. :)

We'd love to get together with you guys again. I'll let you know when I'm ready to deal with that traffic again. LOL (I guess it really wasn't that bad)

I am bumping this back up to see if anyone is still on for the 14th at Pt Isabel. I believe Gina and Crayola will be there (I hope!!). I know Giselle and Ivy can't make it. :(

It has been brought to my attention that another location was discussed for this date. Please let me know which location works for you: Pt Isabel or Ft Funston. Check previous posts for more details. :)

If this is going to be a later meet around 3-5ish, I can make it! Come to think of it, I'd prefer Pt. Isabel since Ft. Funston is a long drive. It's basically right behind the SF Zoo.

Sorry I haven't posted here, my daughter is volunteering at a vets off that is an hour away from my house in the opposite direction of this and she doesn't usually finish until at least 2 or 3. Hope you guys have fun.

Well, I think the meeting has been cancelled. :( We'll just have to try for another time before the summer is over. :)
