Miss Z, I think your home and garden are lovely!!! :) I especially LOVE all the Daffodils you have in containers and all over your yard! It is such a shame that the Daffodils can't bloom all year, isn't it? I miss mine, already! :p

I agree Miss Z you have a beautiful home, and i know how expensive it is to buy in the UK, and you have one very regal and expensive home there, thanks for sharing, really lovely inside too. :)
Hi Miss Z everything is so pretty, the house the yard the room. Very lovely yard I just want to sit down on a chair and admire the lovely flowers.
Aw, thanks. :) I suppose having a father who works for a seed and bulb company is helpful in brightening up our small garden. ;) And yes, Carole, you are right, it is expensive to get houses over here. That's £300,000 worth of house that I posted! I would never pay that for it in a million years! I guess I'll have to get a pretty little house in the states for half the price, I just love seeing how beautifully designed they are (that is, if I don't make my million and buy myself a mansion first ;) :p )
Oooo what one is it? I always like to make sure I get everybody's brochure so that I get the best selection.Quote:

And finally, the view I get right now, if looking right, whilst at the kitchen sink. Next door's gate and washing, just missed capturing the neighbour who is doing some sort of work on their garden. I avoid looking if I can but you know how movement somehow draws the eye. :)

It's De Ree UK Ltd, the UK version of De Ree Holland. The website is here (UK version is in the holland bit somewhere). It doesn't say very much about their products on the website, but if you want to know anything I can ask my dad! :DQuote:

This is the house:

This is the "barn"-
(I forgot how patchy the yard was then, the grass has all filled in now.)
The bottom of the barn is Justin's garage/workshop. Justin and his dad finished the upstairs of the barn into 3 room. The birds/rodents have half of the upstairs. The other half is halfed into 2 rooms- one room for Izzy, our Iguana, and the other is for the snakes and tortoises.

The stables need some work before we can really use them, but we hope to get them fixed up soon (and add some more) so we can get chickens and goats within the next couple years.

Miss Z your house is close to 900,000 dollars in NZ, that is a mighty fine house, infact you would get a right corker here for that, a house i can only dream of,although my sister has a mansion worth over a million dollars,(well not really, but compared to mine it is ) lol i will get her to send a pic and post it, if possible, i call mine the dogs kennel in comparison lol.
Each and every home is lovely in its own way, and as i always say there is no place like home, mine ain't big or flash, but is is cosy and yes i would love to have it bigger and re-decorate alot more, but it is more than just a roof over our head, a home is what you make it, home is where the heart is after all. :)
The third is a pic of the house that we share. :) The others are surronding streets. :D
Those who know me know how much I love these threads, because I just love houses in general. I find all the houses posted here appealing and, Chris, you must acknowledge there are many benefits to having a compact garden area. Personally as someone who just doesn't have the energy for managing much outdoor space, I find your yards the perfect size. Having a contained plot of the good earth is a blessing and there seems to be a little soul who is in his glory in that space.
You will all have to wait a bit until the leaves on my front trees have flushed out a bit before I take a picture. I can't use an old picture because there have been some recent changes made which I'd like to reflect.

Fence we built...our yard isn't really suited for a fence but the dogs would be sad without it I think D:
Here's a photo of our house in SoCal....when we had finally finished the re-do two years ago....

Since then we have had it painted a much nicer looking color but apparently I have not taken any photos since!

I'm glad I stumbled across this thread, there are some gorgeous houses and gardens in here!! I was in the mortgage business for a long time, so I loooove seeing pictures of houses!
Here is the house i live in for most of the year, in Massachusetts...my fiance and I actually just bought it and moved in a few weeks ago! I'll have to take more photos, there is a big back yard and a pond/creek out back

Gosh can i please come holiday with you, gorgeous homes.
Here is a pic of my sister's house.,this is the front, the back has huge opening doors and at night a view of auckland city, with its lights is rather lovely.
LuckyNumber7, all your houses are gorgeous. I love the pool in the Arizona one, and i love everything about the other one very pretty.
Carole, oh god that house is beautiful. :)
I know i would not mind it myself he he, this is my sisters son's home,he is 27 , but not living in it yet, has it rented out.
Sigh everyones houses are gorgeous! I absolutely am so jealous.
Here's the place I call home.

Oh my, so many of these houses are gorgeous!

Haha, here is our little house. Excuse the condition. This was right before the yard was all cleaned up. It looks loads better on the inside. =]
Thanks guys! Carole, I like that the AZ house is built in that theme as well - the architect that built the house was instructed to make it feel like we were living in a sculpture, so the whole thing is a very circular theme which I really like. And I wish we could spend more time at the Antigua house, I love it there! Beautiful beaches, nice people, PRIVACY galore...but we can't bring the animals with us, because the island has really strict quarantine laws...there is actually NO rabies on the entire island, so they require that animals be held for 2 weeks before being allowed in, so we leave them at home....meaning we don't go there very often because I hate leaving my babies behind!
Luckynumber7, Do you have any pics of what your houses look inside? I was just wondering since they are soooo nice and amazing I figured the inside has to be really nice also!
Soooo.. LuckyNumber7, when I'm in Arizona next month you wouldn't mind if myself and the pups stayed at your vacation home, would you? :p
All of your houses look HUGE compared to mine!
Can I ask where in Az your house is? It looks very familiar to me....Quote:

Angelbow20, I'm not 100% sure whether I have pictures of the inside of the house in AZ, but I will look! I know I have some good ones of the land surrounding the AZ house, I can post those ones if ya want. I know for sure that I have pictures of the inside of the Antigua house on my computer...I'm heading to bed but I will upload some in the morning and post them
ooh i cannot wait to see the inside, very amazing homes and lovely spot the one by the sea, you are extremely lucky. :)
Luckynumber7, what job do you do to afford such beautiful houses? I love the AZ one, but the beach one is abosolutely gorgeous! I love how it's right on the water. If I were you, I'd live there all year-round. :p
I wish we could live there year round! I don't work right now, but when I did, I was in the mortgage business. The houses are my fiance's, with the exception of the one in Massachusetts, that's both of ours! He also has a few in New York, but I don't have any pictures of those ones, and they're nothing special to look at anyways :p
I don't have any pictures of the inside of the AZ house, but I have a couple more of the Antigua house. Next time we go down there I can try to take some. The inside of the Antigua house isn't all that remarkable...it's kind of an open concept place, all the rooms open into eachother except the bedroom. The guest house is pretty cool, but I've never stayed in that so I have no pictures of it.
This is the front of the house and the patio where we usually eat breakfast

This is my fiance being a goon on the back patio, and you can see into the living room
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e6...s/DSC_0096.jpg
Edit - I just realized, that's not really many pictures of INSIDE the house. Sorry :( We're usually outside because it's so nice out!
thats ok I still think its amazing! I would love to be near a beach and just hangout.... that water atleast looks clear! All the beaches I go to you cant even see your feet and it kinda scares me.
Funny you say that - I have a pretty bad phobia of going in water where I can't see the bottom and warned my fiance before our first trip to Antigua that I probably wouldn't go in the ocean and he just laughed at me. The water is crystal clear there, I love it! The pictures in my 1st post from up above the house we took while we were on a helicopter ride....there is an island not too far from Antigua that has an active volcano on it, and we got to fly over the crater and stuff...it was crazy!

I wish I had that view from my front porch, you don't want to know what's infront of my house!
That's a gorgeous view!! I love mountains.
LuckyNumber7, can I come over? :D
Amy, that's such a beautiful view! Kind of reminds me of the view in front of my house, except our mountains are less snowy.
LuckyNumber7, can I come live with you? And Riley and Rebel too? :D
I think I may have put it wrong, it's not having a larger garden/yard area I envy, I would just like some space either side, a walkway would do. Enough so I wouldn't have to take the mower through the house to do the lawn, that sort of thing. :)Quote:
