Kim, when you and Andy come down, let's sit down and put our heads together and see what we can come up with.
Sounds like a plan. :D
About coming down, I PM'd you. :)
Sounds like a real good plan.
Do you want in on it too sammi?? We can never have too many Molly Anns running around you know.
I lived in north central Wisconsin for 22 years - 40 degrees below zero wind chill, etc. ... but then 22 years in California - Hmmmm, can we have a branch office someplace warm? ;)Quote:

Uhhhhhh, did you forget about me??? I'll run the mad dash, last minute, edge of your seat rescues at the kill shelters (if I don't have a heart attack from the stress-sigh!)
Never forget you Sue!! You're welcome to join us.
You guys know that if Kim and I come up with a plan, we're going to hold you to your offers!!
Where in North Central WI Pam?? My parents used to own a home 25 miles north of Hayward (if you've ever heard of it) or 40 miles south of Duluth. They were on the Eau Claire Lakes chain (on the Lower Lake).
Andy can help you Sue! He's skinny and can run fast. ;) :D
He can be our dog runner.
Kim, you're volunteering Andy here without his knowledge...maybe he wouldn't want to be a runner!! lol Although after meeting him, I'm pretty sure he'd go along with it! Can you imagine the fun we could have doing this and at the same time save some dogs' (and possibly cats' as long as Mike wouldn't be around them being that he's allergic) lives.
This could be really cool! I'll have to go buy some lotto tickets. There is a drawing tonight....
I have this idea to make a whole pet shopping plaza, complete with refuge. It would include a bakery, groomer, dog park (with swimmin hole), any thing and everything a pet could need :) Maybe some of our artists could even sell animal realted works there!
I too would have to avoid the cats due to allergies :(
Now THAT'S a too COOL idea...ok,,,time to go buy some powerball tickets!
I grew up in Stanley and went to college in Eau Claire. We used to spend part of every summer on a lake near Hayward, sometimes north as far as Solon Springs. They have lots of cows, mosquitos, cheese, and nice folk in Wisconsin!Quote:

My parent's address was Gordon, a LITTLE berg just south of Solon Springs. Small world eh?? I've been to Stanley too!
I caught my first fish at the Gordon Flowage - and even helped harvest some wild rice there! Ahhh, the good ol' days!
As for Stanley, my hometown, they are opening a medium security men's prison there soon - not exactly a tourist draw *sigh*
the answer there is simple! ;) (if you're rich that is...lol)Quote:

2 facilities:
Kitty Cat Cottage and Puppy Palace
I have Andy right here and he said he'd do anything I asked. :D ;)Quote:

He's allergic to cats and dogs, but in just certain areas where there are lots of animals, like the vets and shelters.
Gotta get a lotto ticket.... :D
No not really a tourist place but, handy to visit family and friends. :D :D :DQuote:

I donated some money for Cassie's fund. She looks like a sweetie.
Molly, do you think you could send Spice to me? She's sooo cute and even likes cats!
Aly, just contact them about Spice! I'm sure they would answer you. Isn't she a sweetheart??
