Chances are greatest that it is the epulis and he said it is in a common location for an epulis but of course there is always the chance that it isn't. Fibrosarcomas and epulides can look pretty much identical in appearance. His first words on seeing it were, "That needs to come out." So I set it up right away. I will update as well tomorrow..Quote:

I'm sorry Jess. I was hoping after today that you could stop worrying. I hope it's the kind that isn't cancerous and then this will just be a bad memory. Think good thoughts and have a positive attitude. I'm a firm believer that helps. Give Raven some extra lovin' from me, ok? When are you taking her in for that?

I'm already hating Friday..so much worry about Raven and Moo. I'll have Raven in my thoughts all day as well and pray it's not cancerous and that he has a quick and easy recovery. Please kiss sweet Raven for me too.

Raven is home. She's acting a bit drunk from the anesthesia but looks well otherwise. I didn't get to talk to the vet as he was in surgery but they did get all of the tumor and I just have to wait to hear back from pathology as to what they find. She's home on pain medicine and has a recheck next Wednesday. I'm very glad it's gone and the surgery is over.. now I just want to hear that it is nothing serious. Please keep your fingers crossed.. thank you so much for all your prayers and thoughts for Raven and I.

Just checking in to see how Raven is doing this morning. I was thinking
about Raven's mouth & how hard it might be for her to eat her normal food.

Thank you all so, so much for your warm and caring words. I cannot begin to express how much everyone's concern and messages of encouragement have meant to me. I'm going through quite a bit of stress right now and this one about did me in, what a wreck I was! But I am feeling a bit better about it now that it has been taken out. I'm still afraid of any bad news but overall my anxiety is more manageable now.
Liz, she is doing great this morning. I am feeding her just her EVO and soaking it in some lukewarm water for a bit and stirring in some cottage cheese. She is also getting Metacam as an anti-inflammatory. She really is showing no signs of being uncomfortable and gobbles down her food with enthusiasm. She did have some diarrhea this morning but it's probably from all the stress. Hopefully that will clear up soon.
I will certainly keep updated on anything new I find out. She was sleeping cuddled with Tommy last night while I was working.

It is so good to know she is taking all this in stride. :) I am constantly
amazed at how well dogs handle these things. It sure makes us poor humans

:) So glad she did well & it looks like she's in the clear. She's such a sweet beautiful girl - I love the pics of her cuddling with Tommy. We'll keep her in our prayers for a full recovery.

Raven's coat is like blue/black velvet. She's just gorgeous. What a nice brother Tommy is to take care of little sis. :)
Jess, I will keep hoping for the best news possible. Raven and the T's have the best Mommy in the world and Mommy is due for some good times :)
