I am so glad to hear that he waited to say his "goodbyes" to his dear family.

My thoughts are with you in this sad time. Losing a mother/father is one of the hardest things we have to go through.

I hope it will be a comfort to you and your family that your father is no longer in pain. Try to remember the good times! In my experience, it helps to talk about it - to someone who knew him.
