Lut is back home! There are problems with her bloodthinner: she has to wait 2 weeks before she can be operated :eek:
We have rented a hospital bed for her, which stand in our living room now.
She had to lay there all the time...
To cope with the pain, she is taking extra painkillers. Let's hope that nothing serious happens during these two weeks.

She says she loved to look at the garden. Our 4 cats-nurses are taking very good care of her ;)
She is saying hi to all het friends here on pet talk !

Being confined in bed, on pain medication, is just no fun at all :(

All of your friends on Pet Talk will certainly keep you in our Pawsitive Prayers. However, it's good to know that you have such an excellent view of your Gardens and a great nursing staff!!!!

Lut I'm so sorry that you're in pain. You truly don't deserve to be hurting, you're such a good person. I hope you find perminant relief very soon and that everything goes well with the surgery :(

I hope they will sort out the problems at the hospital sooner than two weeks - that's a long time to wait. At least Lut has a comfy bed and a good view. :)

Hopefully this coming operation wil be the last, and Lut can enjoy life again. Please give her a hug and wish her all the best!

Maybe in the next two weeks, the doctors might find out about some tiny thing that will make a big difference in your mom feeling better! Sometimes delays happen for a reason...

I hope the painkillers are working ok for your mom, and that she can enjoy her furry nurses.

I guess the hospital bed is one that automatically adjusts to help keep your mom comfortable?

Lut, we're all thinking of you, and every moment that goes by gets you closer to the surgery day and hopefully relief froim the pain. And home IS the best place place, don't you think? At least there if someone wakes you at 3 a.m., it's probably just a kitty getting "comfy" - not a nurse there to take another blood pressure test!

Dear Lut, You are very much in my thoughts and prayers! I've included you on our prayer concern list at my church. My wish for you is that the surgery is successful, you'll be back with us on PT very soon, and most of all you'll be pain free when everything is over. The hardest part of having surgery is the waiting, the wait seems like forever and the anxiety sems to increase. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that all of us at PT are on your side and are more than willing to do whatever we can to help you get through this.

her hospital bed is an electric one: she can adjust the hight in general, the hight of the head, and the hight of her feet.
