the official What did you get for Christmas thread? :)

My main present was a Dell Inspiron laptop, complete with printer, corel paint shop pro and lots of other accessories! We're still working on setting up the wireless internet connection on it, but soon I'll be accessing PT via it! It really is a great present and I'm very grateful for it.

I got quite a few clothes too. I have pictures but I uploaded them to my laptop, so maybe I'll post them another time. Basically I got a pair of Prada ankle-boots, some faith flat shoes, black leggings, one of those long jumpers that's in fashion right now, a complete Pineapple range outfit in brown complete with little wooly hat. :p I also got a really soft dressing gown and slippers!

I got two DVDs, POTC 2 and The Da Vinci Code. I watched The Da Vinci Code on my laptop today and I'm so amazed at how good the screen quality of it is.

Of course, I got loads of chocolate, bath accessories, make-up, books, etc, and £50 cash (a little less than I usually get due to the laptop being expensive ;) ). It was a great Christmas!

I was not expecting anything since I did not have a lot to give, but I ended up being spoiled as always. I love it all. :)

His big gift to me was an Oceanic Systems 39 gal "Chameleon lounge" tank for my two adult male cresteds, along with two Exo-Terra Amapallo plants (one large and one medium) as well as three Exo-Terra Vines (two medium and one fine) and a cool looking two-tiered aquarium rock formation. We emptied out the 20 gal normal aquarium they were using and added their old supplies in the new tank with their new supplies and it looks very jungle like with the new set-up. I've been wanting to upgrade their home for a while and now we did!

Their old tank was 24L x 17H x 12.25W. The new one is 30.25L x 24.75H x 12.5W. A vast size difference to see side by side, and it still fits perfectly on the dresser top the old one sat on. I'll be posting photos in Pet General. :D

My mom bought me an Olympus Evolt 500, 8 megapixel with two zoom lenses, a 45 mm and a 145 mm. It was all that I wanted and I am having so much fun using it and learning all its features.

We do a secret santa with hubbies family and I got a gift card to Bath & Body and the TV version of Scene It DVD game.

All in all it was a wonderful holiday.

This was the best Christmas of my life, and not just because of the awesome presents. It was just really meaningful, and a wonderful day. :)

I LOVE gift cards.
Since John isn't working, we made a pact years ago , no gifts. Same deal with all my friends since we see each other all the time, pay dinner bills back and forth etc, plus a lot of their kids are getting married this year.

John's son and DIL gave us some neat cooking items, small but needed as I like to cook. I haven't had a working oven for over a years so I'm saving for a new one.

My brother gave me a total surprise of $$, after we made a No gifts deal. (I deserve it though! :p :D ))

Went to parties on Dec 24/25 so I was kept busy so I wouldn't funk out. I really did have fun, though.

Kimmy that family photo is just precious :D.

I got a stuffy head, fever, earache, sore thraot, not even Ny-quil is helping, cold!

A few awesome things from cafepress. One says "adopt a black greyhound, dreaming of a home" and it has an adorable picture of a black greyhound sleeping. The other says dance like no one's watching. It has a grey greyhound in a tutu.lol. :p

Other than that a lot of POTC "junk". :p A piece of aztec gold, a few italien charms and earings, one has a compass the other has a key and P.

I got a hilarious book "how to live with your neurotic dog" It's hilarious, I would reccomend it. And I got the best book ever, LEO a greyhounds tale. I loved it. :D

My whole family went together and gave me a digital camera. The same one as Wenisrubber, the Canon 540. I am NOT a very good photographer. The high school in the district where I live has a class in the adult education division every semester, digital photography 101, so I'll be signing up as soon as spring enrollment starts.

This year I got the one gift that I've been wanting for the last 8 years...A Christmas with my mom and dad. Due to some problems in the family we haven't gotten together for 8 years, so this was a WONDERFUL surprise. I'd gladly give all my gifts back just for the 2 days we got to spend together.

The best Christmas present though is that Justin, his dad, and his uncle are working on the new bird room. I can't wait until it's finished. It hopefully should be ready for the birds to move into by next week. There will be a few little things that won't be done by next week, like the plumbing, but that can be worked on while the birds are in there.

My gransparents must have been cleaning out their liquor cabinet in preparation for their move, cause they did the same. We got a bottle of Whiskey that has a sticker (seal around the cap) on it from 1977. At this point, do you drink it, or make it a family heirloom?
