Molly and Mike, we are so sorry to hear this. :( :(
We'll keep you and Daisy in our prayers.
Oh no, I am so sad to hear that Daisy is not doing well. Continuing the prayers and asking for a Christmas miracle for Daisy.
Hugs.
oh no! :( not another one. :( I am so very sorry. :( (((HUGS))) you both will be in my thoughts and prayers. atleast she will be able to spend one more Christmas with you guys. :) Again, I am so very sorry. :(
You could try an Elspar treatment. It usually gives dramatic results in shrinking the tumors (e.g. 50-60% shrinkage in 6-8 hrs, 90-100% in 36 hrs). Side affect: Allergic reactions can occur. If your dog is still on Prednisone that would suppress any allergic reactions. Also secondary infections may occur due to the huge amount of tumor lysis that occurs. The effects of the drug lasts 7-10 days.Quote:

She is now refusing food...even canned. She continues to drink, but, that's all. I hate this so much. Unfortunately, there will be no Christmas miracle at the Kendall household....just solidifying my hatred for this holiday. I am not going to prolong her agony. I hope that she can last until Tuesday morning so that we don't have to go to the emergency vet to do this.
Thank you all for your support through all of this. I hope that I can convince Mike to just stay home tomorrow and spend what time we can with her.
I do think you have had a Christmas miracle of sorts that she has lasted this long. She will still be in our prayers that she makes it to Tuesday - does she adore candy canes like my Gracie (Great Dane) did? If so, sneak her one for me, if it'll tempt her, okay?
thoughts and prayers on the way Molly.
Thoughts, and prayers coming your way. I pray for comfort for you, and your family during this terrible time of need.
Willie :)
:( You will all be in my thoughts at this heartbreaking time {{Hugs}}.
So many hugs for you Mike and Molly.
Thinking of you and Daisy today. Hugs.

Oh Gosh~
I'm Praying that your Dear Daisy can have one Last Christmas Day with all of You~
I am indeed , so Sorry!!!!
{{{HUGS}}}}
Lots of good thoughts heading your way Daisy.
Mike is going to take Daisy in tomorrow to have her put down. She is no longer eating or drinking. She is lying on the bed now. Please keep her in your thoughts as she crosses the Bridge.
I hate this season so much. Every year something happens...so much for joyful. I told Mike that next year the entire month of December is going to be boycotted....maybe we can avoid someone else dying.
We're just praying that you have the safest possible journey to the bridge, sweetheart. There will be a Pet Talk reunion and welcoming committee when you arrive. Godspeed Daisy :(
Hugs and a prayer for strength for what must be done. My heart goes out to you.
I'm so sorry about Daisy. I hope it will be peaceful. It's so hard right here at Christmas. Please give her some love from us here at PT. I hope you can find the strength needed for the day ahead tomorrow. It won't be easy but we'll be here for you as best we can.
Mike & Molly,
I'm so sorry to hear about Daisy Mae...
Many hugs to the both of you. I will think of the three of you.
Kay
But she did hold on through Christmas, bittersweet that she did spend her last day home with the people who love her so. Give her a kiss from me tomorrow morning, okay? Hugs to all of you!Quote:

I hope your passing is peaceful and pain free Daisy. A lot of hearts are breaking on this mere mudball we call Earth. :(
When my people found out I had canine osteosarcoma last year they were terribly upset. After my amputation I was in much less pain and I tried to explain to them that we dogs enjoy a better life by the time we're three than most humans do their entire life. I learned that from Cesar Milan's book, but I'm eight now and can attest its true ... The time I have left with the people who love me is icing on the cake!
We all send our best wishes for coping with the loss of Daisy. My people found it therapeutic to set up a website about my recovery and palliative care. Visit www.tripawds.com for photos and movies of me and other tripod cancer dogs or check out my resources page for more helpful information about cancer in dogs.
