You might offer a lil "suggestion" to their Mom/Dad ...
tell how darn HANDY a lil engraved Dawg Tag can be in
times like this!!
And tell em How Close they came to "loosing" The Boys to a GREAT new home ...
Heck, they had New Names AND reservations in Slots #24 and #25!

I also threw in a little lecture about getting them neutered, which she also agreed would be a good idea!
They were very happy to see their Mom. The little grey guy is two years old and his name is Finnegan. The black boy is six and his name is Four-By.

Let's hope the Tag & Neuter lectures had an effect and bring results.
Did you find out How Far they'd come when you picked 'em up?
And any idea HOW they escaped?
Again ~ Job WELL Done!!
;)
Glacier, those dogs are so lucky to have found you! You are an amazing person to take in these beautiful pups. :D They sure have it good and those boys are just ADORABLE! :) That's great that they found their old mom. She must have been very happy.

Not sure exactly how they escaped, but it sounded like she had been near their home when they saw a squirrel and took off--huskies being huskies and taking advantage of any momentary opportunity to run!
Good job! If they were my boys, I sure would be glad to know someone found them & they were safe & sound! Can't think of a better place for those boys to "wait" to be found!
I'll pass on a little tag-secret -- Sherman kept pulling his off when he laid on the deck - they would slip between the cracks & he'd yank up so hard, they'd pop off. So JoJoe drilled each one so it has two holoes, and I sewed them flat, right onto his collar, with heavy thread. Haven't had to go "tag searching" yet!
Aw, great names they almost had and great names they have! Especially Finnegan. ;) hee hee...glad to hear they got home safely!
Bye bye Finnagan and Four-by!! I'm so glad your owners found you!
I am both happy and sad. I am glad that Finnegan and Four-by are home again (thanks to Glacier), it sounds like they have a good home and are well loved. But, I am sad to hear that we won't get to see more of them. Maybe they can come visiting with Daisy. ;)
This is a great post to end my day with
You're truly a caring and kind person
I've heard many people speak about all the kind things they would love to do but to actually know that there's a kind and unselfish person like you actually doing it is beyond words. There are many dogs out there wandering and looking to find their way home. Many of them never do make it back. I wish I had someone like you here when my Milo was lost and wandering. God Bless you and thank you for helping a lost dog find his way home. You've really touch my heart with your act of kindness.
