Laura, he sounds like a very special man. I know he was proud to call you his friend. How heartwarming that the nurse enabled having David with him that last night.
You will all be in my prayers.

Laura, what a sad time for you and his family. I lost two immediate family members within 6 months of each other so I know a little what they are going through. Life can be harsh sometimes but the good times and memories do help a little.
It was nice that the nurse allowed David to spend time with Jason. :)
How tragic. :( But what wonderful hospital staff to allow the kitty in to be with his human for his last few hours.
I'm so sorry, Laura. {{{hugs}}}

Laura, I am so very sorry for you and Jason's family. I think it is the friendliest thing ever that the nurse helped to smuggle David in.
Laura,
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I have a wonderful friend that cared for my aunt in New Mexico for years. He is HIV+ and the most wonderful, caring man you ever met. That's the funny part. I've spoken to him on the phone for years, but have yet to meet him!! :eek: We talk on the phone weekly.
Take comfort in knowing that your friend is at peace.
(((((HUGS))))))))) to you
Donna
