Thanx everyone for telling me about your orange tabbies! They are all very sweet!:)
My orange kitten that is about a month old now, I have decided to name him Otis. On second thought, he doesn't appear to be like any of the others I've seen on this thread. He has the usual orange tabby markings except there is a dark orange band that goes from his cheek across his nose and ends on the other cheek. As far as I can tell, this is the only dark orange band on him, and then it is across his face!:)
Since the birth of Otis, my Aby Queen has given birth to two more orange tabbys, both have Abyssinian features. Again, I havn't named them yet. Am waiting for them to get a little older, and not so feral, because she had them hid under a mobile home, and I could not get to them until early this week. They were old enough to come outside, that is when I "grabbed" them with a blanket, and brough them into the house. They were hiding behind what ever they could find, being terrified of me and the other cats. They are just now beginning to play with the other kittens and are also allowing me to pick them up without hissing and biting. Also, they are just now beginning to eat "meaty-goodness" cat food.

I swear you have the most exciting kitty house, Wayne. There's always some kind of action going on, if it's not the kittens it's a new one you found, or one not eating right or 6 trying to wake you up. What fun! :D
T & P M. thank you for a positive insight. I didn't plan it this way, at least I'm getting a first-hand education in feline raising. Also, now they areall being kept indoors, because in the past I have lost too many prized furkids to dog and coyote raids by not keeping them outside at night. No more! I love all of my furkids and they do reciprocate the same love to me. It is just that it is necessary to learn how to read their eyes, meows , and body language. Also, they keep the house a mess most of the time.
Silver Prince appears to be like a "grand champion" in appearance. He has that feline-dignified look about him, and he is going to be a large cat . He is only 2 months old and already weighs 3 lbs! Also, he is very affectionate, which I consider somewhat unusual for such a large kitten.
BTW, I found that by placing my nose on a feral kittens head, and moving around like is done with my more familiar cats for a " love you" gesture, you can feel the tension and fear leave their little bodies, and they are more prone to acceptance. :D

Oh they are so beautiful! I got to watch them being born, and helped out with the cords on #2 and #4.

So they are 8 days old, and Sam's eyes already started opening on day 5! He's also the biggest and loudest by far.
So there are 3 males and one female.
Will be taking lots more photos soon of course!
Don't know why the links won't work. Here are the full addresses to copy and paste -

It's a little more trouble, but the only way you can see the pictures (no thanks to geocities) is to swipe one of the three addresses listed above, copy (ctrl+c), then paste (ctrl+p) into the address on your browser, press enter.

I LOVE orange tabbies...my baby Noah is one! Let's see if I can attach a recent picture of him...
Doh! Forgot to attach the picture....
This is Noah with his favorite Catnip Cigar and his duckie. :)
Here's one with Noah resting on his friend the kitty. Funny story....it has a voice box in it paw that when you press it says "MEOW, MEOW, MEOW". Wherever he is in the apartment, he'll come running! :D :) :D
I love calicos, they're so cute, smart, and funny. My Ginger,
she's a calico and is such a dear. she follows me, comforts me,
and makes me laugh! She rolls on her back, begs for treats on her hind legs, and chases her sparkle balls like crazy! You might say she acts sort of like a dog!:D (Ha!)
My Grandmother's cat Bow, is ever so strange! He is a polydactle, which may I add means he has more toes than a regular cat. He is also very talkative, and is a joy to be around.:o

Noahs Mommy, Noah is the cutest! He looks sweet
I can not believe how big he has gotten.
I MUST KNOW..............Where did you get that kitty that MEOWS??? I think my kittys need one (or two) of those  :)
I like the catnip cigar too :p
I meant to attach a pic of both my kitties. First, here is Kedi (aka BooBoo &/or Knucklehead):
........and here is Wylie, who lives up to his name:
AWWWWWW
Noah is sooo handsome... I just love the second pic of him snuggling with his friend the kitty....
and Yorkster,,, I don't think I have ever seen your kitties before..
they are soooo beee-yoooo-teeee-ful!!!
Oh Noah!! I've missed seeing your pics sooooo much! I've always had a soft spot for you and I always will. Look at you, what a handsome boy you are! I know you are 1 year old already, like our kids, time sure flies, Kelly, doesn't it? It's as if we just yesterday got our cuties! And now they are year old already...
Anyway, I absolutely LOVE those pics of Noah, he looks so relaxed on the second one, and hey, look at those whiskers! Are they long or what?
Yorkster, what can I say, wow! Both your cats are adorable! If possible, show more pics :)
C&K.........well okay, I'll show some more pics if I have too! :D
Finally got a scanner, so watch out everyone, I might become a 'scanner addict' :p
Hugs & kisses to Casper & Kitty! :)
Yorkster **gasp** your cats are gorgeous and I don't think I have ever seen them before. Please do post more!!! You know we all just love pictures here at Pet Talk! Are they just little petite little kitties under all that fur? My Trevor has no long furry coat to hide the fact that he really enjoys a good meal!
As always Noah is just as handsome as he can be!! He is getting a more mature look too!
Thanks Pam!
Actually they are both good sized cats. Wylie is now 15 lbs and still growing some, and Kedi is 13 lbs (he actually should be about 14-15, but has been sick lately and lost some weight)
I still think your kittys are bigger though! :)
You are all so sweet! Thank you!! I sure am a proud mommy!!! :) :)
Niina, I CANT believe they are so big already, each time I see C&K I think that too! Wow...time sure does fly!! Thank you for you sweet compliments on Noah, he is my little angel! :D
Yorkster, I LOVE the pictures of Wiley & Kedi!! Such sweeties!! And please, we'd LOVE to see more of them...fire that baby up! :D
Since you all were commenting on my sweet pea, I happen to have a few new pictures of him and his sister Noel.... ;)
This one is of him almost asleep...until mommy bothered him
I know this is for Orange Tabbies....but I feel bad that I haven't posted many of Noah's little sis, Noel....
Here she is....
AWWWWW
That pic of sleepy Noah is just so sweet. I love it. And Noel is such a pretty tortie girl.. GREAT PICTURES..... KEEP UM COMING!!!!!:D :D
Adorable kitties! Everyone keep posting pics! I will try to get pics up of my new kitty soon! :)
Noah's mommy! I don't think I've seen many pics of your kitties before, they're so adorable! Noah reminds me of Fister when he was little (unfortunately, we only have a few pics from then) and Noel looks so much like Fister's mum!
I'll try and make a scan of them both later. :)
Yup, you HAVE TO show more pics, your cats are simply gorgeous!Quote:

Scanner addict sounds good to me, so post more! :D
I just LOVE orange tabbies! I've had three now we have an Odie the third lol they are sooooo cute. I've never seen any FEMALES. but I once heard that cats with 3 or more colors are mostly females so well I dunno I think that IS true. I have a calico cat the person I got it from said that and guess what! It is a female!  But she is the shyest cat you'll ever meet! Always sticks to me! Oh well! She's cute anyway!
I have an orange tabby named Corkscrew. He is a total terror, he can open some of the doors in the house and all the cabinets despite the child proof locks. Wherever you don't want him to be that is where you will find him. But I think that's why he's the greatest cat, he always keeps me on my toes.
Corkscrew is beautiful! Orange kitties sure seem to have alot of spunk.
My part orange guy will open drawers and doors too. If we go on vacation, he will open one of the kitchen cabinets and then pull stuff out on the floor. I think it's our 'punishment' for being gone!
One the other hand, he is the biggest love-machine I've ever had. :)
Here's my sweetie Frodo, just a month old today! (June 28). Babies are all getting playful now, and uncle JC can hardly keep up! Josephine is a great mum. Never knew she had it in her - it has helped her get over her shyness.
http://www.geocities.com/boleyn_70/Frodo-June11-2002a-small.jpg
Oh what a little sweetie Frodo is!!!! I just love tiny kittens. <sigh>
Awwwww Frodo, you are so sweet! (and cute!)
Makes me want a kitten
