Warm Irish Soda Bread  I think there is a 4:30 plane to SF, let's see - 1/2 hr to your house, you should just be getting home. I'll see you on your door step. Of course I'm assuming you can smuggle some out of the office  :p

LOL! With our hungry horde of legal beagles, I don't think it will last past noon! We're also having a St. Patrick's Day Eve party this afternoon - complete with Green Jello shots :DQuote:

I've never had Irish Soda bread to I'm up to trying something different. How about a cheese try to go with it along with some white wine. Now that's a lunch. :D
Sorry about your car MOFF but very glad to see you back at Thursdays. I hope you cana get that fixed right away. If not, I'll send my mechanic down there.
Coke and Coffee together!!!! Gee, maybe that's what I need to get my day kickstarted. :D
You should SEE the jello shots! The wonderful tax attorney (yes, there IS such a thing; he's a good buddy) made green Jello jiggler "shots" in the shape of shamrocks! I'm going to try and get pictures.
Oh gosh, it's awfully quiet in here this morning again. Do I need to do the Marine wake-up call again? Nah, we'll let them all sleep in today. Maybe the smell of fresh organic Brazillion grown-in-the-shade coffee from Trader Joes will wake them up. I see Slick left a bottle of Baileys here, so I guess I'll just add some of that to my cup too.
By the way, speaking of Coke Blak, I believe it's at Dunken Donuts now where you can get a shot of espresso in your cup of coffee for an extra "jolt"! What's going to happen to today's kids when the world runs out of caffeine?
Mario, sssshhh. Come here sweety, sure I'll add some cherries to your cereal this morning.

C'mon, folks, warm Irish Soda bread this morning, just at the right temperature so the butter'll melt on your slice ...
**yawn**
I'm up but just barely. Not very hungry this morning so I think I'll just grab a long tall ice cold glass of milk. Mmmmmmmm
Oh how I love that Irish Soda Bread, thanks! When I drink coffee I like really good coffee. Black. Unless it's with real thick cream or Slick's Baileys  The idea of coffee and coke together makes me a bit queezy Of course I'm not much of a coke drinker anyway. Nothing against anyone Irish but if I hear anymore Irish Jig music today I'm going to scream  How about Van Morrison? That's a nice compromise ;)
RUN OUT OF CAFFEINE?????!!!????
AAAAAARGHHHHHH
Don't DO that to me! Not a nice comment to wake up to! :D :D :D
Anyway, being that the world still has a caffeine supply (It's in Newton, trust me, more shows up every year) I'm going to have a nice cup of Sumatra coffee with some of the soda bread.
Oh my, hot Irish soda bread with butter oozing all over it - and a cup of strong, fresh coffee..................
now that is what I call a way to start the morning out right!
Have a good Friday everyone - hi ho, it's off to work I go.................
Pretty quiet in here. It's an OK day up here....cloudy with sunny periods or sunny with cloudy periods. Take your pick.
I'm in the mood for some comfort food like a big bowl of home made macaroni and cheese. How about it?? Oh, and I'll take a nice hot cup of green tea...in keeping with the Irish theme today.
Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone! :)
Well, it looks like I'm the only one here today. Guess I'll fix myself a nice big old Lemon Drop Martini and relax by the fire. Mario, come sit beside Auntie Slick and let me pick those cherry pits out of your hair.
MILK? someone ordering MILK?
Get the bouncer! quickly!
Gosh, we are all over the place today....
dark rums, sumatran coffee's, bailey's, cokes, green tea, cherry vanilla cokes...jello shots and coke.....caffiene? I am just beginning to discover the joys of jet fuel....ONE CUP and I go flying!!
Can I give you all a group DONE??
OHG, Should you ever meet ES's husband, ask him for the recipe for his chocolate martini....
(I have been binging on chocolate since I have one.....I just need the alcohol....)

Hi Orc.....Yes you can have the day off today...
Hi Lady...Boy is that nose cold....go sit with Mario by the fire.
Ho Mario.........Come here I'll make you a Shirley Temple.....No, the drink not the girl!!
Don't do that to him again I had to pick him up off the floor! Poor Lady thought something was seriously wrong with him! LH absolutely cannot function without his caffine.Quote:

What Tamara has been through - and just look at that little punk now - sitting there licking his chops - no idea what he put his owners through.
And that is why we love them - no?

It's a beautiful day here today and I really must get on the move and do housework but the slushies in here are calling my name. How about a double over here??

Yes, the head is pounding even thought the slushies haven't worn off yet. ;) :D
Holy **** Debbie. Allow me to make you another huge pitcher of slushies. Sounds like your head is spinning. How about a Lemon Drop Martini after that's done. Gini makes it best. :) ;) :p :D
Slick, doesn't matter what form the alcohol is in right now, as long as it's liquid and goes down cold. ;) :D
I'm going NUTS! I can't properly talk to Terry because the boss is here, and now I realize I forgot my cell phone at home....which means I have to wait until I get home to find out details....and that's about 2 1/2 hours from now!!
