I agree it would depend on whether the mama was near full term or not, i dont think my conscience could live with it if that happened when they were nearly due to be born.

Like everyone else has said, I would ONLY have it terminated if the pregnancy was very early. Just like human babies, kittens will feel the pain of an abortion. I would never terminate a pregnancy if the kittens were moving around in the womb. I guess thats just because I have faced miscarriages and know how it feels to lose your baby. When I worked at the SPCA, there was a cat that had a spontanious abortion. She aborted 4 kittens that were almost fully developed. She was so depressed that she wouldnt eat or use the litterbox and ended up being euthanized for it. :( It was so hard watching a mother lay in a cage with her 4 dead babies - just cuddling them and looking so sad. :(
