They look like they really enjoyed the walk! I love the happy Hobo pic! :)
Every winter a few dogs are killed by wolves in this area. February 21 will mark two years since Hobo was attacked by a wolf in our yard. No problems since we put the full perimeter fence up.Quote:

Yay! I'm like Hobo. Doesn't take much to thrill me. Just post pictures of your beautiful family, and, I'm over the moon!
What a happy group of dogs! They're so adorable! Do you still have Mac?? (I think that was his name...)
They are all so beautiful! Looks like a ton of fun! :D
Bet those dogs were VERY happy to see you back, sure looks like it:D
I love the fact that they have group howls, I bet that's awsome to hear. Every once in a while I play back that sound bite you posted of them howling, I just love that!
Thanks for all the pictures, I was starting to miss your pack:D
I LOVE the first picture!! :D And I have to admit, I have a thing for your psycho puppy, he is too darn cute :D
Yup, Mac is here. He hangs out in Raven's pen most of the time. He gets his off-leash runs when I take the team out. Mac often runs loose with us. He's a great early warning system. He always lets me know when there's something up ahead and he chases loose dogs away from Franklin!Quote:

Of the other 8, Muskwa and Earle are the only two who aren't rescues/re-homes of some sort. I stole Bandit from an old neighbor. Sundin, Paxil, Pingo, Hobo, and Sleet all came from other mushers who didn't want them anymore.
Beautiful pictures! I love the first one. I would love to hear the sounds they are making in that picture! :D
I never tire of seeing your group. :D Looks like they are thrilled to have mom back. :D
That's so neat- do you have any pictures of them howling? I think that is one of the most interesting canine behaviors. I've tried everything to try to get my dogs to howl, playing wolves, dogs, and coyotes howling so I can get it on video, but the only time they ever howl is when they test the fire siren once a month at the station down the road. :rolleyes:Quote:
