Honestly, I find this very unbelievable :eek: Why would the petstore risk being shut down for hiring a ten year old employee! It sounds like a awful place! Why would your parents even approve of you working at the age of 10, especially when it's illegal?!!Quote:

I started working.... volenteering I should say, at a shelter this year. I am 13. You've got to be 14 but they make exceptions for experienced animals owners. It's really fun! Do you work at a shelter?
Shelters here you have to be 16 to even voulenteer(sp?)
I don't think that was wrong of you, boy when I am in pet stores that sell any animals from mills (or even if they are in bad condition) I say WAY MORE than that. (insert evil but happy smiley here) I can get everyone away from the animals and out looking for a reputable breeder within 10 minutes. :D
I don't, I'm rather embrassed between Alyssa going omg saying stuff real loud, like she said, and if I were to say something I'd be even more embrassed. Alyssa embrasses me good enough though :p lol
