It definately takes longer in the winter. I have to take water around much more frequently. In the summer, I can fill up big bowls, but that doesn't work in the winter. I have to put more time into their food as well--thawing the meat enough that I can chop it, soaking kibble, cooking "slump" when it's really cold. I would say on average, just the basics of food, water, handing out pills, poop scooping, straw delivery ect takes about 3 hours a day. Running them takes at least 2 hours more. Plus there's all the other stuff--playing with them, clipping nails, making sure they are healthy & happy, cuddles on the couch ect, ect. They take up the majority of my "free" time.Quote:
