Here's an update: So sad....
BERGEN, N.Y. -- Two of seven puppies abandoned along a western New York road have died.
Three Lab-mix puppies were found Monday at intervals along a road west of Rochester. The next day, four other puppies were found in the same area.
Sheriff's deputies said the pups may have been placed in a box and tossed from a moving car.
Of the seven puppies found, two have died at an animal shelter from the parvo virus. The others are being cared for at animal hospitals.
News stories about the abandoned dogs have prompted numerous calls from people wanting to adopt them. The Genesee County Animal Shelter is no longer accepting adoption applications because of the flood of calls.
Police continue to look for the person who dumped the puppies along the road.
:mad: :mad: Just makes me sick that someone would do this. Poor wittle babies & I hope they get a good home soon.. Maybe they will find the skumbags & throw them out on a road far away..

On a good note I guess they are getting a LOT of donations.
Blood transfusions are or will be given to some of the pups, $500 per transfusion.
Oh how I hope these guys make it & they find whoever did this.
That makes me just SICK! :mad: I had a rescue kitten once that was done the same way and had two broken back legs. :( We had her legs "set" by our vet and eventually she was adopted. I'm sure someone special will come along for these babies too! I hope the freak(s) that did this will get drug behind a car! :mad:

Sorry :o But on the topic of throwing dogs out of cars.....A few years ago my mom actually witnessed a guy throw a doxie out of his pick up window in a parking lot :eek: She went right to the dog and didn't think of getting a plate number...but we took her in (and named her Dancer after the parking lot she was dumped in), she was older, the vet guesstimated that she was 11+ :( She was in completely horrible condition, she smelled bad and had an ear infection, and later had to have surgery because it was left untreated for so long...Buuut, we found her a great home with some friends of ours :D And shes still doing great today :D
