Oh yes, I know those nuts...Those who think that 4 wheel drive can drive 65 mph on ice :rolleyes: I'll be extra careful, although I must admit, I am a little nervous. I have no problem driving in snow, but ice makes me a little nervous...Quote:

Its so bad that my dad is picking up Nanook (I have Raustyk & Kaige with me) and we are staying at his house tonight. I live almost 40 miles away from work (even longer if I were to go home today because I'd have to take the main roads) he only lives 7 miles away.
The salt trucks are driving by literally every 5-15 minutes & its not making one bit of difference.

I just went out to start my car & I really ment it when I said that EVERYTHING is covered in ice. I could barely get the door open & even my tires are complete ice. EVERYTHING.

Please, ANYONE in this ice storm BE VERY CAREFUL on the roads. And if possible, don't travel at all unless you absolutely have to!!
We've had the same here all day. Snow, rain, sleet! Thank goodness up until now, the roads aren't that bad, yet. Ice is so scarey. :(

Well, it was clear when I left for the party. By 9 PM it had already started to rain and freeze grr. I crawled home, and must have had to pull over 10 times for @#%^& dy/dx tailgaters in SUVs!
Actually, the roads weren't too bad going home yesterday. They weren't bad at all this morning - lots of salt. Whew! Hopefully they will stay that way! Good luck and prayers to all in bad weather!

Yesterday we got about 4-5 inches of snow. Kingston got 15 inches of snow & Montreal got 20 inches of snow :D
I miss getting 20 inches of snow :( the stuff here keeps melting on me.
