I have a program that does just that if i can find it..lol..It was free..will try to find it.. ;)
yeah I've found most automated programs though don't achieve as good quality as if you do it yourself though. I even downloaded the plugin for PS to automate the process, but I've found doing it yourself step by step you can really customize it and set your own levels for stuff instead of having it automated so it turns out much better!
Do you have a link for the tutorial? I'd love to try it! :)
