EDIT: You Nailed it Kim...by saying "Come on girls"! As many of us, but not all know....torties, and calicos are GIRLS! Not to mention "red patch tabbies", etc...all the mysteries of the wonderous cat! :D

Kendy would be a Tabby & White.

The Calicos & Torties have 3 fur colors. One of which must be orange*. The other two can be black (tabby brown) and white. (or the dilute versions of those colors- cream, grey)
There are plenty more inticracies of the Calico pattern, such as the placement of white, as in the High White Calicos.

It's all in the genes.

* please correct me if I'm wrong.
