Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Today has been so hard - I keep going outside to check Kissy's food and water, and looking for him every time I enter or leave the house - only to remember that he is no longer here.

I know he is in a much better place, and I am trying to take comfort from the fact that he is no longer suffering.

Thank you all for helping me to remember darling Kissy, and not letting his passing go unnoticed.

I am still feeling so raw, and on the verge of tears all the time. I wish it would stop hurting, but I know it will take time.

Yes, it will take some time but you'll feel better soon. You'll be comforted by the fact that you did your best for Kissy. It was the last kind thing you could do for her. She knew you loved her. And she loves you. Take heart.

I am so very sorry to read this. Kissy knows that you loved him. He is now at the RB and is happy, healthy, and playing with the others who have gone before him.

Take your time and mourn for him, but remember he is always with you and will be waiting patiently until you are together again.
