Hehe - none yet.. He still has bits of old skin hanging on ... but his eyes are now clear. I'll take some tonight before I feed him - my shipment of rats from rodentpro.com came in finally - 65 POUNDS OF FROZEN RATS!!!!Quote:

Well, that oughta last....at least a year. :)
Actually I figure if I feed my snakes once a week, and there's 52 weeks in a year, 100 rats is just about enough food for 6 months. However, if I feed them every 10-14 days, that's roughly 3 times a month, 144 rats per year, so I probably have enough to last around 3/4 of a year.
I didn't take any pictures - I was too busy individually vaccum sealing my rats last night, and I only got through 3 bags. I've got about 5 more bags to go. I'll probably finish that tonight or tomorrow.
I did feed all 4 snakes last night though - and they ate voraciously. Shinja wasn't too hungry at first - I imagine he ate right before he was shipped, so I'm not surprised. He hissed at the rat a lot, but eventually ate it. Youkai was funny - she was having some issues unhinging her jaw, and was sticking her tongue out and making all sorts of funny saggy faces at me from inside the container I feed her in. I started laughing and making faces back at her, and she got mad and struck at me from inside the container. But she bumped her face against the plastic instead of biting me. LOL, once I was sure she was OK, I started laughing harder.
Poor thing - I apologized for making fun of her though. LOL.
Faye and Jet took the longest time to eat, but eventually they both finished. These are good sized rats. Not too big, but just enough for a full sized meal.
They are stunning! :D I love the colors and patterns.
Hehehe, Chubby always eats really voraciously, but she almost never starts at the right end! She will fold mice in half eating them sideways, or go AT A SLANT and have all sorts of issues. DBF keeps giving me a bad time for keeping mice in the freezer, so I only get them eight at a time.
Can you post pics of their living environment?
I'd love to see what kind of set ups you keep them in.
