I agree. I'd save it as a reward for going through the blood test. Good luck!

It went well today! :) I have to wait for the results, though. I hate waiting!
good!! any pain? nah?
now, let's hope for the good result! (((you))) :)
Thanks for explaining about the full glucose test, I have been tested to make sure I don't have diabetes, but that is just the regular one, you learn something new everyday here:) Hope your results are fine.
they called just a few mins ago and my cholesterol is a little high and I have to walk around the block every night.
I feel your pain Krista. ;) As you know I just recently lowered my cholesterol. Lost 25 pounds ( I was getting pretty heavy :o ), went on a 2,000 calorie diet and exercised more. Walking, of course and some riding my exercise bike when I couldn't get out in the winter. Hook those doggies up to a leash and walk, walk, walk...! :D
an extra block or you don't just walk that much with your dogs? well that's not bad, walk hard! :D ;)
hope it'll be a better one next time.
Maybe you could take one of the puppers with you so it will seem more like fun than excercise. I am sure Buster could keep you busy and distracted for a block and before you know it you will be finished your walk. You could even take a different pupper each night that way you get to spend some quality time with each of them. :)

BTW...carole, I didn't know there was more than one test for the blood glucose until I had to get it done. And they are a super pain. I hate having to fast but it's worse having to eat that hospital cafeteria food. :p
As for cholesterol I firmly believe in eating a low fat diet will help lower it, I am not what you call the type who looks healthy on the outside, as I am a little overweight, but my cholestrol is excellent, and I tribute it to the low fat diet, I just need to bump up my exercise to loose the weight., so try doing the walking and limit those fatty foods or choose lower fat options would be my advice, it seems to be working for me.:) however having said that hereditary factors do come into it, my mother also was good at my age, but now she suffers from high Cholesterol, so I may well be doomed whatever I do, but i will keep trying, Good luck with your walking.
