GEEZ!!!! that is one stubborn bull terrier!!!!
and how did the porcupine look?
that's crazy, it's good that she's recovering! I, too, wonder how the porcupine fared. I feel badly for both of them, imagine how scared the porcupine must have been!
There's a second link at the bottom of the Snopes page...Quote:

The porcupine was tested for rabies...which means it didn't survive the attack. :( But there are pictures of Inca pre-quilled!
looked at the pictures again, dang. poor porcupine, it is so strange that it approached the yard like that. :( i wonder what inca would do if she saw another one. probably go after it again.Quote:

I have a friend that has a Shar-pei, pit bull mix. Also a little lab in her. Anyway, she has jumped the fence and tangled with a porcupine 3 times. It cost my friend a small fortune to have the quills removed. Here is a picture of her when she tangled with a porcupine. Poor dogs.

poor baby!
i got that e-mail from my dad a few days ago! that must hurt!
I wouldn't call it dumb, just genetics telling it not to quit. That's what bull & terrier breeds were made for, fighting through the pain.Quote:

What a dumb stubborn dog, you think
he would have backed off the first time.
I've had this pic emailed to me twice and the subject is always Pit Bull vs. porucpine. Even when the real breed is given, people label it a Pit Bull.
Porcupines aren't carriers of rabies, why the heck would they test it. That was unnecessary.Quote:
