It was actually our old PR person who set it up, but the SAKS here likes to do these type of events every couple of months. There were also other tables set up around the store but of course I got ALL the attention because I had pups! I have no clue what other organizations were at the other booths. Looked like one was making some kind of slushy drink.
It really helped that the puppies didn't have any accidents :o They're only two months old and I was expecting it so I layered their pen with gobs of towels but they were good boys and pottied outside.
I would contact the managers or PR people at several different businesses like SAKS to see if any of them are animal friendly. You may luck out and someone could really love animals and allow you to do it. Another option would be asking if they would allow a booth set up right in front of the store.
