We bought it from a guy here in town who was selling it on Ebay for $601. :)
I have a Canon Powershot A60 (2 mp), Canon Powershot A75 (3.2 mp) and Sony Cybershot DSC-T1 (5 mp). I've used a couple Kodaks, Fujis, Sonys, Canons and Olympus'. My favorite cameras were the Canons. I love the quality of the pictures and they're easy enough for a beginner to use but there's also a lot for advance users to use. There's not a thing I dislike about my Canons.
My Sony on the other hand drives me nuts. The Sony's I've used aren't as easy to use (it's a bit tedious to change settings) but they seem okay in terms of picture quality. I don't like the fact that I can't use regular batteries in it but instead, I have to charge it. The only thing I like about my Sony is that it's compact.
Thank you all sooo much, you have given me a lot to think about!
I just bought the same model (4th of July sale at Circuit City!) after my trusty old HP Photosmart 215 died in a fall at Niagara Falls. The Canon has more settings than I'll probably ever use. I'm still getting used to it and haven't uploaded any pics from it yet - heck I haven't even installed the software on my PC yet! But I think I'm really going to like this one. It even takes videos!Quote:
