Hiiiiii cutie pie!!!!!! Even though I've already seen these pics, it is always sooo nice to see Jonah! His eyes and hair are to die for!! Such soft hair. I bet his hair feels just like a little duckling's head! Looks so soft!!!
Kisses to adorable little Jonah! :D

Such fun! What a square face he's got right now - a real "boy" look to him! I think Mr. Spitz need not worry QUITE yet, but cutie-in-a-pool pictures are always welcome!

Jonah is a fine looking little fella. He's got a killer smile.:D
Do you plan on giving him swimming lessons. Has he been in
a "big" pool yet? He might like it.:D

He really is a cutie. And he looks like such a happy boy. I am sure he keeps you busy and smiling. :)

awwww! Johanna - Jonah is soooo handsome. Not only is he looking so grown up but also so BOY looking. Maybe like Karen said - it is the shape of his face?? Misha is only one month older, and to me she still looks more babyish and definitely girlie:D I bet you HAVE to get comments everywhere you go about how good looking he is. I love the baby pictures and there are never enough for me - I guess because the baby stage passes oh so quickly:D
Do you have any pictures of Jonah and his kitties? I would love to see some;) Is he walking? - looks like he is standing in the "crown the statue" pictures.
Oh and the first picture of him eating...I have it on good authority that babies absorb much of their nutrients through the pores on their hands and faces:p So smear that food babies!!

Thanks everyone! Yes, he is losing that baby look, and really developing the toddler look. He has gone from roly-poly to string bean central! He is such a slimmy now.
He hasn't mastered the fine art of walking yet, but, does 'cruise' which means he goes from couch to table, to anything that he can hold on to, while on his feet. It is a precursor to walking. He can crawl really fast and furious, and sometimes crawls on two hands, one knee and one foot. Kind of scooches along for quicker times.
He doesn't say any word that I can distinquish, but, does babble alot. He did crawl up 3 steps last night, which was a first. And, he does stand on his own for a few seconds. That brings him great joy, as he starts to clap and giggle, which sends him right down on his bum.
He still hasn't gotten that stranger anxiety thing, really, and goes to just about everyone. He does look at me to make sure it is 'ok'.
He has gone in the big pool once, just last weekend. He was fine, once the coolness was overcome. At some point I will put him in swim lessons, probably not until he is 4 or so. There have been studies done that suggest the early pool stuff- 6 months, 18 months, etc., doesn't do anything to help a child learn, since they don't really have the physical ability to learn to swim. Mom and dad both have pools, so, I hope to always have him comfortable with water.
Thanks for looking at my cutie pie!
Johanna

It was sooooo good to see pictures of Jonah - thanks for posting them.
I can't believe how fast he is developing. Sounds as though once he starts to walk you are in BIG TIME trouble!:D
