little Ms. Muffit
Dear Momma of little Ms. Muffit,
Meeeow, thank you for telling the story of little Ms. Muffit, your purrecious angel girl.
Both of you were blessed in that magical way: a human heart bursts forth with love for a wee kitty and the feline heart opts to trust. Then the miracle happens: an abandoned stray blooms into the most purrfect feline pet.
I wiped away my tears with my velvet paws. Sigh! Life is like raisins and nuts -- sweet and hard at the same time.
Your angel cat deserves the honour of being our Cat of the Day -- she stole your heart and countless other ones too.
Purr, one nice gift you have is no one can take away your memories of Ms. Muffit -- these memories are the jewels in your treasure chest of life's experiences.
In honour of Ms. Muffit -- her provincial flag, the flag of Newfoundland and Ms. Muffit's national flag, the flag of Canada.

...been out walking a St. Bernard, briefly in my care... my goodness, he's strong!... occasionally encountered loose dogs... madness... exhausted, I come in from the back way... take time to stop at the grave of the wonderful Thunder Paws... come into the house, hot and sweaty... sit down at the Mac... log on to COTD... see the lovely Ms. Muffit... read the beautiful tribute... feel the love in the words... appreciate that...
Ms. Muffit was lucky to find you, and you her.
Your son did a good thing.
Pat him on the head for me.
