Goodbye Syth

Thanks guys.

He ate so much last night, but I had a feeling something was wrong. He bit me when I stroked his jaw, instead of rubbing against me like he normally does. When I woke this morning to feed him, I knew right away something was wrong. He was on the floor of his home, near lifeless. He barely raised his head as I lifted him. And then he was gone.

I wasn't expecting this. He left me too soon. Too soon..... :( :( :(

I keep second guessing myself, wondering what I did wrong.

Andy thinks I should give another Crested a loving home, but I'm so scared that I'm just not fit to be a reptile mom and this is fates cruel way of telling me so.

Oh Kimmy, I am so sorry for your loss. Please do not doubt yourself. You did everything you could for the little guy, and he obviously appreciated it. We all know that you are a wonderful mother to all of your animals, and when you are ready you will bring happiness to another special little guy.

So sorry to hear about Syth. :( He was a beautiful creature, I know you did everything to care for him please don't blame yourself.

Oh Kimmy, I'm so sorry. :( I rarely come to the "Pet" side and I had no idea little Syth was gone. :(

I do have to agree with Andy though. I think Syth would be happy if you gave one of his kin a good loving home. Sometimes we never know what went wrong - and never will. I'm sure it was nothing you did though because I know you would do whatever was needed for any of your babies.

Thanks. It won't be right away, but I'm confident that someday I'll get another gecko. :)

Kimmy Mark just told me about Syth and I'm sorry to hear he's went to the RB:(
Like Logan, I rarely am on the pet side so I'm sorry I didn't see this before now:o
I really liked looking at his pictures I'm sure he was quite the little guy and I know one day you'll be ready for another:)
