Anyways, I remember using my friend's Kodak camera and one thing that I noticed about it right away was it's durability. It felt VERY plastic-y and cheap, like things were lose inside.
What a like most about my Canon is the swivel LCD screen, works well for different angles. :)
Rachel, If I were to spend the money again i'd go for a Canon, Nikon, or Olympus... in that order. However, I probably take more pictures than you so something like the Kodak would be okay for pictures of people, dorms, ect.
