Beautiful Peppa. Your Mom's loving tribute to her much beloved girl brings tears to my eyes:) What a special, everlasting bond of love was forged that fateful day, fifteen years ago!!! And you know Peppa, a lot of people think they are not "animal lovers," when it reality, all they need to do is give a beautiful, loving, gentle soul such as you a chance to work your magic and they're hooked!:D I'm so happy to hear that you are doing so well, sweet Peppa! What a courageous girl you are, enduring your chemotherapy treatments so valiantly. But I think it was as much the healing power of your family's love and devotion as it was the medication, that made you whole again! I hope you continue to do well and enjoy many, many more healthy, happy, love filled years with your wonderful family! Congratulations to you brave, beautiful Peppa, our EXTRA special, most deserving, CAT OF THE DAY!:) Much love to you on your well earned day of honor, precious Peppa! Have an extra special day of celebration with your family! Hugs and purrrs to you from me and my boys Mr. B and Oliver!:)

What a trooper you are Peppa! I don't know when your picture was taken but you look fantastic for 15 in any event, let alone having beat out cancer! Well done!

She looks super, bright-eyed and content. That's a sweet story of how she found her family. Isn't it amazing how much a stray cat has to give? Good luck.

That's true! My DÃ_lle (soon to be posted) was a stray and she is the the sweetest kitty I've ever known. a bit shy with starngers though

Pretty Peppa
Meows, purrs and much love to you from MARTHA and Julie ("meow!) the Calico Princess. Your story touched our hearts. Cats can heal humans, too...I may not even be alive today if my Julie had not come into my life just before Thanksgiving of 1994, when I was recovering from a major depression. I believe the Lord created animals to love and be loved by us humans...they give us so much more than we ever can repay. They are truly four-footed channellers of the Holy Spirit of God. By the way, I agree, your markings are really striking, Peppa. I have never seen anyone like you before! But I am glad I saw you today, and read your wonderful story. Blessings on both you and your human friend.

Allow me to share one of my favorite quotes about the animal-human bond.
Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened (Anatole France)
Dearest Peppa, you were the one to "awaken" that part of your Mommy's soul. I can feel your very special bond through her words, and it brings tears to my eyes because it is obviously so strong and so pure. What an amazing kitty you are to have triumphed over so much, from being abandoned alone as a kitten to overcoming the dreadful disease of cancer, you have proven yourself a graceful survivor and a true inspiration for human and animal alike. Truly you fill your family's life with joy they might never have known had you not found your daddy that fateful day. Bless his heart for bringing you home, and your family for taking you into their own hearts. I hope today is especially wonderful, with lots of smiles and affection to enjoy and cherish. Congratulations Peppa, our BEAUTIFUL (inside and out) Cat of the Day!

Oh, Peppa, what a dear little girl you are. I'm so glad you have won your battle against cancer. What an awful thing for a kitty to endure surgery and chemo. I love your pretty black and white fur and bright gold eyes. My Jack has a spot on his nose exactly like yours. Peppa, you picked the exact right family to love you and care for you "in sickness and in health." I hope you have many more years together.
