The Petsmarts in my town only sell one large bird at a time and it's usually a Cockatoo or Eclectous(sp?) and like you said Wolfchan, they take great care of them. If a bird or any of their small animals is sick, they take it off display to a back room and take care of it. I've seen some pretty pethetic looking critters at the Petcos around here.
