I am reliving those days, myself,as Scrappy 2,sits,on the bed,and tackles my foot. And it hurts,as I am diabetic, and cannot have her scartching open sores! But she is in that play mode,as Mooses Tail, can testify,to!

I have had that before!! Only mine was multicoloerd and came with small sharp stabbing pains now and then - did your husband have those?? I miss my lil growth!!
That was such a cute and funny post:D There is NO WAY that Shadow is a foster - that is even funnier!!!:D :p ;)

I asked my husband if there were any little stabbing pains with it, and he said not that he could really feel yet. I suppose that comes along as the little black hairy growth increases in size over time!:D

The little black growth IS contagious! I had it on MY foot this evening!:D It was covering the entire bottom of my foot when I lifted my foot up to get a good look at it! I wonder whose foot it will turn up on next?
-
Where, oh where, can I get a growth like that?? The only cure for that is bed rest....with the growth. :)

I am so glad I decided to read this thread! LOL!!!!

The little black hairy growth is now starting to include symptoms of sharp little biting, stabbing pains when it occurs! :D

UPDATE on the little black, hairy, growth: It is causing more little stabbing, prickling pains as it grows, and it comes on a lot quicker and moves around a lot more. EVERYONE in our house has now experienced it, so it must be VERY contagious, like someone on here said! It has occured on our hands, arms, feet, and legs, so it is spreading.
It seems to be something that people with kittens get, so BEWARE if you have a little kitten in your home. YOU just might be the NEXT one to get "THE GROWTH" syndrome!:D
