She's lovely and so content looking. :) :) :)
Well, we've had Shin'ichi for about a week now and since then we've had them separated for the most part and then gradually increased the amount of time they roam the house together. Persephone seems to be gaurding her territory, which seems to be pretty much the whole house to her, because whenever they're together, Persephone always becomes a little agressive. Like Shin'ichi will just be sitting there and if Persephone knows she's there, she might sit a few feet away and just watch her and eventually she might just lay down, but then after they're all calm, and nobody's doing anything, Persephone will just go up to Shin'ichi, hiss and then hit her with her paw. Shin'ichi is usually pretty scared at this point and won't fight back or anything. And usually after that, Persephone might sit there for a little while longer and watch Shin'ichi and then just walk away like she's bored. We definitely made sure we trimmed both of their nails before we had them meet each other, in case anything like that would happen. We've tried the approach where when they're together, give them treats so that they know being together as a good experience, but it doesn't seem to be working too well. If anyone has any advice that would be great because I'm trying my best, but introducing two kitties is all new to me. And I know these things take time and I suppose it all depends on the kitties you have, right? Well, I just hope everything works out so they'll at least tolerate each other. :(Quote:

I don't know if i've missed anything about this, but any intros with Persephone yet?
Shin'ichi is so beautiful:) Do I see some meezer relation in her?
I think once she feels a little more at home she way not allow Persephone to hit her;)
What a beautiful cat! Never saw a Siamese with white on it like that.
It takes awhile for them to become friends. I have had Samantha for a year (this July) and nobody but Chester likes her and she is the lap cat of the house and will let me love and love on her when the rest don't want to be bothered with anything more than a quick pet or kiss.
