hehe *I* have a story! Hope I get the details correct. Missy had a prom coming up but was not sure that she had a date. Chris who is Paul's big sister *and my son's wife, thought maybe she could set Paul and Missy up for a blind date and make sure Missy did not miss her prom. So - Christine asked Paul about taking her. It turns out Missy DID have a date but Paul had already bought her a pretty "Sterling rose" and gave it to her - they were then able to meet and the rest is history (she did not previously even know Paul) Also - that Sterling Rose became Missy's favorite flower and the theme flower at their wedding...it is a silvery lavender colored rose that is very delicate.:D

The groom normally does not see his bride in her dress until she comes down the aisle right? Well - before the wedding, and before guests arrive and are seated - bride and groom get to go into the sanctuary alone with only the photographer...who takes close pictures of their first glimpse at one another all ready for the wedding...this picture is right when they first saw each other on their wedding day:D :D Isn't it adorable???
(or is it just because I am the mom??)

*PS..for those who do not know..YES I have two children who are married to a set of siblings - the siblings are the children of persianmom who also posts here:D

pretty darn close:):) the rose wasn't technically a Sterling rose- but it was a VERY beautiful purplish rose :) :) :) That seems like so long ago, but at the same time it seems like it just happened:)
