Oh my, I forgot about the bath episode! How terrifying for you both! Loved the capture method, sounds similar to when Laura put her ferals in a sack. :D
Little Abigail is looking so grown up now. All sweet, petite and lady like. :D

Little Abigail...I want to kiss you so badly in this picture! :) I'm so glad she survived, and that Magoo (and of course you & hubby) love her so. :D Whatever happened to the third kitten? Spring is coming...and it seems to come in threes at your house.  :D
Well Jan, since you asked, just recently I have made friends with number 3. In the last two days she has let me give her some serious back scritchies. I casually mentioned this event to hubby the other day. I also reminded him that when I got Abigail and Rosco he said we could keep number 3 if I caught it. His comment was "Well, I've changed my mind!" Hmpff! We might just have to see about that!Quote:

Your turn Lisa! Hubby demanded that one "get in the house"...and certainly made sure several more joined the herd. Sure hope you get #3 before she's showing up with a three pack! ;)
Yet another amazing kitty story. I'm running out of words, I am just in awe of the trials and tribulations, towards all the success stories you have.
Must be a wonderful, wonderful life for all of your kitties..such a precious gift from you.
Wow.
Lisa, I just LOVE the way you tell a story, even though most of them made me cry, including this one.
I remember the bath incident and how hard that was on you & hubby , but forgot about the way you had captured her.
Quite the description there Lisa. LOL You go girl!!!!
Those baby pictures of Abigail are so heartbreaking, but by gosh, look at that sweetheart now. I loved reading her story and especially the pictures.:)
Abigail looks like such a SWEET little girl!:) I love your stories, and look forward to reading them every day.
Abigail is such a beauty! Your stories have been wonderful!
I feel sorry for those reading this thread and not know us and Richard. I had forgotten Abbys bath spell. Pretty girl.
This is another heartwarming story. I also remember when Abigail was so sickly that you weren't sure if she'd make it. I'm so glad that she's a happy and healthy little girl now.:)
I had no idea about how you got Abigail!! What a heartwarming story, Lisa!! You are really one-in-a million!!
Abigail is such a lucky girl!!:)
That's so amazing how Abigail went from being on death's door starving to such a vibrant sweet female kitty. She certainly does look small, but healthy. We wonder if that is why our Leila is so skinny - whether she starved when she was out on her own during her first 4-5 months of life - she is a tiny but powerful little thing and the fastest runner in the house. It's nice to know that a shaky start isn't the end of the world for these amazing animals, especially with kind-hearted people like you and your husband! :)
Awwww!!!! What a lovely story!!! :) :) :)
Abigail is an amazingly beautiful little girl.
How nice to hear her story and to know she has such wonderful parents.
Hugs.
