And meet Ruby (Opal's sister)

I picked her up Friday night. She's been pretty frightened. Totally different personality from Opal. I don't see any problem with either of them being adopted - separately or together.
A couple of real sweethearts - here they are playing:

Those girls are so cute! I just love both of their coats and color. Gorgeous. Wonder how they would get along with my two girls?;)
Ruby and Opal leave my home tonight to enter Midwest Dachshund Rescue.

They'll stay in town tonight, go to the Quad Cities tomorrow and on to Chicago on Saturday. I will miss them immeasurably. My home will be so quiet without them.
Please say a prayer for their safety and that they find a good home together.
:(
I hope they find a wonderful forever home.
Good luck Ruby and Opal! We wish you the best!
Wow Robin! They came to the Quad Cities? That is where I live. I so wish my mom would let another dog in the house!!! they are both cuties!!:D

What is the info on the resue they are going too. I just saw this thread. I think my folks may be intrested in the girls. They have a smooth black and tan. Getting the photo off to them. If I had info to send may be they would be more coaxed into getting them. T-bone (male) is getting lonely his springer buddy is getting to old to play . They have a fenced acre and a half . and T is really spoiled. He was a rescue from Seattle people locked him in a basement and moved . He was found by landlord a week later.
They had left a facet dripping and a small sack of food with him. Sickos.
