What a relaxed girl Peanut is- just accepting that her new brother moves into her house:)
They are at the Magnet Stage, where they do seem,to repeleach other, but I ,and The Library Cat Club, have the feeling, that soon they will be Cat Pals, together! Look ,at how long,it took the ES,to like each other.
And that coat, provides such great cover, that Peanut, better,be on her toes!
CJ, you crack me up! :D But I can't believe Peanut let you into HER house! :D
I went like this  when I saw him in Peanut's house!!!
I am so glad he is settling in well! :)
Glad to hear things are going much better. How about the spraying? Any more of that? Love the video and photos! Tell little Peanut to take it easy and work up to the vigorous playing!:)
It's great to see that Cracker Jack is feeling better and settling in so well. :)
Great pictures, Debbie! :D
It's just a box, Donna. Peanut loved the box sooo much (I really think it's the little window that gives it more appeal than any ol' box), and I got sick of looking at a big brown box in my dining room, so I searched for a few appropriate clipart pics, printed them out, taped them on and walla, kitty house! :DQuote:

I know, I know, Jen! I can't even imagine having a kitten if this is what a 7 year old is like! Did I mention that it's been 9 years since I had a 7 year old in the house! So yes, I'm quite unused to having a "baby" in the house. :D And I think he is learning quickly. Not a single his or scuffle last night or this morning. He seems to be learning how far he can push :DQuote:

His antics are normal (and one of the reasons why KITTENS and elderly cats do not make a good match....but that is a whiole other story). But at his age he should be wise enough to not push Peanut too far. Of course if he DOES you will be obligated to get him a playmate more his age
Could be....could be.....the black thing he is laying on in the first pic is a massage thingy. Last night Terry said that Peanut was sleeping in the spot where CJ is in this pic, and CJ was laying less than a foot away towards the bottom of this massage thingy! I had the camera with me otherwise he would have taken a picture. :DQuote:

K & L and QSA, no more spraying, that we've noticed anyway, and I'm seeing pee biscuits that aren't Peanut's in the box, so I think that was just to let me know he was having problems. I'm not sure about the tooth. He took his last antibiotic Sunday night, and yesterday, for the first time since he came home, I found a nicely shaped poop in the box!!!! Hooray, hooray!!! Terry even wanted to come see. ;) :p So now that we're getting the diarrhea under control, I'll be calling the vet about the tooth coming out. Last time I talked to him he didn't seem overly concerned - not like it was an emergency situation - so I'll just keep an eye on CJ to monitor how he's feeling. Now that the antibiotics are done, it might start bothering him more.
Thanks so much everyone. Tonight at 8:00 pm it's exactly two weeks that he's been home. I think we've all made wonderful progress. He's such a goofball. :D
Great update Debbie! I'm so glad that CJ is feeling better and the spraying stopped (LUCKY). Exciting news over the nice shaped poo too.
I'm  over that picture of an intruder in Peanut's house too. They're just making leaps and bounds of progress.
I'm so glad to read that CJ is doing much better. He is so adorable.
Loved the video and all the pictures.:)
Debbie, I'm so glad that CJ and Peanut are getting along fairly well and this it's only been 2 weeks.:) I can't get over how she let him into her little house. I think she really likes her new little brother.:D CJ sure is a charmer.:)
Oh I love Cracker Jack.I'm so sorry I missed him earlier.What a fun cat.And I think he'll be good for Peanut.Later.LOL:D :D
He's very pretty too.
Wonderful update on CJack - he's settling in finally! Give Peanut a smooch for sharing - we know how hard it is to adjust to a new roomie. Sounds like things are going well though!
