I am in total agreement with everyone here - you are NOT psycho! I've suffered from depression too - and after the holidays always seems to be the worst. Please know that we are praying for you and we love you, and hope you will be back to feeling much better soon. {{hugs}} from us in NC...
Debbie, this is what I feared had happened ... as you are so much like me! I will try to call you sometime soon. Today is my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, so I will be tied up with that. Please know that I love you dearly, and am here for you any time. You are very worthy, smart, and precious, and you WILL come out the better for this horrible experience you have to deal with!
LOVE YOU SO!
Kim
{{{{HUGS}}}} and prayers for a quick rebound.
{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}} and prayers that the going gets easier for you.
Debbie, you are one of the nicest, kindest women on here and in no way are you psycho. No one can truly understand depression until they have been through it. Those with it, however, completely understand how you feel and if you ever need to talk feel free to PM me. I went through something similar last summer--I almost lost my mother, school, everything...
Deb, I'm so sorry you're having problems with this again!
I'm sitting here on the verge of tears . . . my mom has had SERIOUS problems with depression in the past, so I know what you're going through . . . thankfully she is on meds to control it and has done great . . . but I do know how hard it is for the person dealing with the depression, and for the family that worries and loves you.
I know you have an awesome support system there around you . . . I hope & pray that you get to feeling better.
Just remember your loving husband, your wonderful kids, and those beautiful kitties that surround you every day . . . they're worth living for!!!
We all love you here Deb . . . you've become someone that I've really come to respect and think a lot of! You're a very special lady!!!
Hang in there sweetie!
We love you and miss you when you are not around. Please know that, and hold that close in your heart, even when depression is convincing you you aren't worthy. WE know you are a good person and deserving of love, not just by your kitties, but by us. Take care of yourslef, or let others do so, and we look forward to your feeling better enough to join us on a regular basis!
Thanks to all who answered - I was not looking for this but appreciate it anyway. I most always like to come to PT. I know that when this happens - it worries Dennis and he is afraid to leave the house lest I attempt to end my life again but I am not at that point at all.
I am very frustrated that this black mood returns still. Much is the isolation I live in, much is the physically painful problems (migraine and herniated cervical disc) that I am denied medication for because I am deemed "unsafe" now and much is the *psycho* label I have earned, even though I know good and well I am not.
The "nice" things some of you folks have mentioned are part of the trouble I face. Too much empathy tears at my heart and political activism makes me a target of hate. I don't feel worthless, I feel exhausted.
Thank you again to those who answered and sent me PMs.
Debbie, I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well!!
How awful that you cannot get any meds against the migraine and the herniated disc, the pain you're in must be awful! :(
((HUGS))), and get better soon!
Kirsten
All I can say is that you are certainly surrounded by many people who love you very much. What a lucky woman you are in so many ways. Our passions do tend to hurt us at times, and I hope and pray you will find a happy medium, my friend (and I do consider you to be a friend to me).
Hang in there, and know that I am going to keep you in my prayers.
Logan

Oh Deb!! Lots of hugs and loving thoughts! I really hope you feel better very soon. You are such a sweetheart and everyone here loves you to pieces!! You are a kind and caring soul and not a pyscho whatsoever!! You and your husband will both be in my prayers.
I'm sorry I missed this thread and didn't reply sooner. I just wanted to send some {{{{HUGS}}}} and say Hello. I hate to say I hope you feel better because I know your not sick, and I was gonna say cheer up soon, but I feel it wouldn't be that easy. So I'll just leave it at good positive thoughts and vibes are coming your way and you know we miss you. Talk to you soon.
Jodie
I saw this yesterday before you're post Debbie but I didn't reply.

Sending positive healing thoughts and prayers you're way.
