Just got a reply back from the shelter. All the remaining cats hae adoptions pending and waiting lists if those fall through. Oh well, maybe another time!
Ohhh Bummer Amy. :( Were they taking any more names for the waiting list? Though I guess if it's not to be this time.. :(
GOODNESS! I bet Andy's happy he didn't have to lose part of his lung. Scary. :( I hope she recovers as swiftly as Andy is. We had a great weekend of partying, shopping, and he even drove himself home (my car.. I slept so I'd be awake driving back to my place).Quote:

I've never known anyone personally who had a collapsed lung, and now I know two people within a month! Sounds like hers was more severe because they actually had to remove part of the lung, but I guess she's doing good and should be home soon. She's older - I would say in her mid 50's maybe? - than Andy, and she also smoked. She has quit for quite a few years now, but still, I'm sure that didn't help any, and definitely could have caused the collapse.
Anyway, just couldn't believe it when I heard it, so I thought I'd let you know. Glad to hear Andy's doing so good! :D
