I'm so glad he's feeling better and that you found a vet that knew what they were doing!! Go Tubby Go!
What great news! He looks so happy and healthy.
That please us,to no end, taht the Tubster,is 100% again, and the Found Cats, hope that the toy, that they sent, will help keep Our Pal Tubby,a Happy Cat.
Thanks so much everybody. Like I say, he continues to amaze me everyday with things he hasn't done in a long time.
This morning was a "fluid" day and I'm beginning to think he really doesn't need them. I put him on the table and he immediately got up and tried to jump down. I laid him back down again and tried to hold him with one hand while I put the needle on the IV thingy. Got that accomplished, and got the needle in, but he was sooo restless. Kept moving and trying to stand up. I'm trying to hold him down and keep the needle steady. Then finally he stood up and the needle fell out and fluid is going all over the place and I'm trying to hold him and turn the fluid off and he got out of my hands and jumped down and that was the end of that! I had gotten 100 whatevers in him out of the 150 whatevers that he's supposed to get, so I just let him go. I didn't want to poke him again for just 50 (I don't know, are they milliliters or cc's or what?) So he is definitely feeling much, much better, and he is drinking all the time so I know he's getting plenty of fluids. Guess I'm going to have to make sure to have Terry help me from now on. Between the two of us we should be able to keep Tubby down, and if two of us can't do it, I guess he doesn't need them that bad. ;) :D
Oops, and forgot to say, QSA, I've always wondered if he had some meezer in him because he's such a talker. I call him a complainer. ;)
And yes, Gary, he loves your toy! He has never looked more than once at any type of catnip mouse or toy - except for the infamous Canadian Catnip mouse. He doesn't bat it around and play with it like Peanut does, but he always has to go over to it and start rubbing his face on it and lay on it. :D
So glad to hear the the Tubster continues to improve.:) Please give him some kisses from me.

Oh Tubby, this is wonderful news! :D Alert, curious and hungry .... what could we want more! Aren't you a lucky boy, with your mommy's good care. :)
Debbie, I can't tell you how happy I am for Tubby - and for you and Terry - you have your old boy back! :)
Tubby, I had to wait to show the video until Fister sat in front of the screen, and I tell you, he was giving you headbumpies. :p
We're sending kisses and scritchies, and hope you keep improving!
They do look alike! Even down to the way they sit! Tubby always sits with his back legs stretched out like that. :DQuote:
