Help!!! Gabriel has Diarrhea

Meg, I'm so sorry to hear that you're also having diarrhea problems.:( Since Storm's on heavy antibiotics, he's also having a lot of diarrhea. I've started him on a chicken and rice diet and I've also force fed him some pumpkin which he hated. He won't eat the plain yogurt that I bought for him either.:( I sure hope that things improve. Please keep us updated.

Is pumpkin something that would help a diarrhea problem? I thought it helped the opposite?? I know that it is suggested to give it to dogs when they have anal gland problems. My dogs get a little bit in their meal about once a week.

I don't think pumpkin pie filling is the right thing to use, either (is that what you said you were using?). Pure pumpkin is what is usually prescribed. The pie filling type would have lots of sugar and other additives.

I hope Gabriel will get through this. Sounds like you are being very attentive, and that's what he needs.
