Miranda_Rae, Gracie and Gabe have an eye condition, they are able to see some shadows and that's about it. I am adopting these two babies from QueenScoopalot (Jan). Saturday is supposed to be the "Big Day"
Oh i see. Poor babies! :( So it can't be fixed?
I'm not sure. I have an initial consultation with an eye specialist on December 8 to see what can be done.Quote:

Awwww! Their baby pictures!! Look how far they have come since then and what little doll babies they have become! Just to cute for words! Uncle Magoo would be PROUD!
If those two can carry on with the lessons Magoo has taught us, these two will help other handicapped kitties and save many!
Your the best. That's what I would do.They are going to the perfect home.:) :)Quote:

LOL Meg!! Already plenty of baby pictures that you stashed aside. ;) Both the kittens have deformed eyelids, and Gabriel has a condition called "macropthalmia", and Gracie has the opposite problem. She seems to have quite a bit of clarity in one eye, but the other is pretty ulcerated. I think they have quite a bit more vision than I thought, as they don't miss anything! Gabe gets very nervous when he's held, about being put back down on the floor. The claws come out, and he has to feel the floor before he stops feeling nervous. He's such a loving little guy, and so is Gracie, but she's always got something to do...and Gabe's always right behind her doing as well! :D They are such doll babies! :)
Jan..it really sounds like they need each other so badley.I'm so happy they do have each other:)
These pictures are better than adorable. Those two are so sweet and cute. It's Saturday so today is the big day!! They are going to thier new home with Meg!!! I can't wait for all the great stories of how madly in love she is with them and hopefully lots of pictures!!!
You know Magoo can't stand to be held or carried. It is the most dissorienting thing I can do to him. I always make sure that if I have to pick him for any reason I always set him down next to piece of furniture of something he can recognize immediately to help him reorient himself.
Big kissies to the sweet babies!!
It's funny...in this picture, it's hard to tell the babies apart!

As they've grown though, Gabriel's eyes have become so much smaller. It really kind of gives him such a cute appearance though! Yup..the big day's arrived and the kittens are having one last tear through the place LOL! There goes another houseplant! :D
