It's still very cloudy here, as thick as this morning. I hope some of you who get to see it can get some pics of it :)

Just to tell you guys, acording to space.com, the Lunar Eclipse offically starts at 8:06, but that's when it enters the peumbra the moon won't look any different you can tell it starts to change at 9:14. I hope I don't sound like a know it all, I just thought it was a useful bit of information.
Should be interesting to see.
Have a look here for the details: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6345294/?GT1=5472
Thanks for the headsup, I hope the clouds don't make us miss it :(
Thanks for telling us, I'd love to see it!
Anyone know what time that is EST?
Ashley
I believe EDT + EST are the same??
I've already taken a few pictures.
Right now.....as I stand looking out of my picture window in the living room, I have an absolutely stunning view...I'm just speechless...
Oh that sounds so cool, but just now when I sent my hubby outside to look....he said it was too foggy to see anything!
Does anyone else see anything???
Tina

WAY too cloudy here. :( I'm looking forward to your pics, Kay!
On the way to church tonight, I noticed how full & beautiful the moon was. Then, somebody told me about the eclipse tonight, and I just went and checked it out, and it's already happening, and totally beautiful. All I have are binoculars and it is too bright to look through them as it hurts my eyes. But I'm totally fascinated.
Thanks for starting the thread, Kim!! :)
I've been taking pictures every 20 minutes.
They've come out well so far. :)
Here's the most recent picture for those of you missing it.
For some reason when it all started, the moon was a bright orange and now when I look out it's white....
