Welcome home Toby!!

Kia was listless for about a week after she came home from the hospital, so don't worry about that "I'm feeling sorry for myself" look.

What a way to start off my day. :) Yeah for Toby!!! You must be so relieved. If I were you I'd be hugging him all day. Every day it will get better and better and pretty soon he will be his old self again.

Oh happy day!!! What great news:D Welcome home sweet Toby:) Oh, how wonderful it is to see you resting on YOUR couch:) I shudder when I think how very ill you were. I'm sure with lots of rest, a good diet and lots of TLC from Mom and Ollie and of course, nurse Squid, :D you'll be feeling great in no time! LOTS of hugs to you beautiful Toby! What a happy day for you Mom and the pups and for all of us, too:) Now, we'll be expecting daily updates;)

I know just what you mean here, a year ago when Tommy had a horrible gastroenteritis he spent 5 days at the vet hospital and nearly underwent exploratory surgery (he had a sudden turn for the better and the vet held off on surgery). The whole house felt wrong, just everything felt wrong. It was a sick, dreadful feeling of my whole world just having that bleak and scary feeling. It was almost more than I could stand to see his balls and bones laying around on the floor, but I couldnt' stand to put them away either because that felt even worse.

I remember acutely how dark those days felt while he was gone, and how it felt like a gush of bright warm light in my soul when he was home again. Everything just felt right again. A bone laying on the floor was just something for me to trip over again, instead of standing out because it was his and untouched. It's so hard to put that feeling into words :) I'm so very glad your baby is back home with you again, and you can breathe a true sigh of relief.
