Bye....
No more wheelchair....
Just wide open spaces and the ability to fly.
Godspeed.:(
I've so admired the way that he and Dana have faced adversity. Just heard the news this morning and was dismayed. What a shock.
I also was incredibly sad to hear this late news bulletin, he was indeed a very brave man, and it is such a shame, he fought so hard to continue his life ,limited as it was, indeed an inspiration to us all.
Although his last nine years may have not had the quality he deserved, he wanted to live and that is why it is so hard to hear he has left this world, he genuinely believed he would one day walk again.
I watched a documentary about him and his life, and to say he was amazing , is an understatement.
May you rest in peace Dear Christopher, and walk again in Heaven.
A true star in every way.!!!
Sincere condolences to his loving, devoted wife Dana and his children.
Somewhere in Time is one of my mother's and my favorite movies, this is so sad. :(
it's really to bad, and i loved him as superman!
I was stunned and heartbroken when I read the news very early this morning:(:(:( He was a superhero in the true sense of the word! What courage and determination he showed his family and the world, each and every day. What an insipiration he was. Fly high, Superman. We will miss you.
Yes, Richard has it just right! No more wheelchair! And he can fly anywhere now.
My heart goes out to his family, but I feel he will always be there, very close to them.
Through his incredible adversity he gave us such a fine example and did so much good work to make us aware of disabilities and the research that needs to be done.
And yes, he was a fabulous Superman............and still is!!
He has been such a fighter, and has given so many others with paralysis courage and hope, he will be greatly missed and always remembered.
He sure did inspire a lot of people. He made the most out of a very terrible situation. RIP Christopher! not only was he an inspiration to the handicapped, but also an inspiration to ANYONE facing tough times.
The world could learn a lot from him
I was shocked too.
He had such a rough time of it, but kept smiling thru the whole thing.
He was definately a superman.
